On Tuesday, February 27th the Board of Directors of Eaton Corporation plc (ETN) announced a quarterly dividend increase of from $0.94 to $1.04 per share that’s payable March 28, 2025 to holders of record March 10, 2025. This represents a 10.6% increase over the last quarterly dividend. Eaton has paid dividends on its shares every year since 1923.
At the current price of $279.22 (yesterday's close), this increase will raise ETN's dividend yield to 1.49%.

This recent dividend increase marks the 10th consecutive raise I’ve received from Eaton Corporation since I acquired my shares in July 2015. Over this period, ETN’s quarterly dividend has grown nicely from $0.55 to $1.04 per share, reflecting a 89.1% increase.
The moment of writing, ETN’s weight of my portfolio is about 1.06% and its share of future annual dividend income is approximately 0.38%.
Following this increase, my yield on cost is 6.60%.
