- Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) and Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. (BIP) Announce Minority Interest Sale in Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America LLC; KMI and BIP announced that they have agreed to sell a 25% minority interest in Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America LLC (NGPL) to a fund controlled by ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC (ArcLight) for $830 million. The proceeds will be shared equally between KMI and Brookfield Infrastructure.
- ONEOK, Inc. (OKE) Announces Fourth Quarter 2020 Operating Income; OKE reports GAAP EPS of $0.69 which was $0.04 below estimates. Revenue decreased 3.4% to $ 2.57 billion, which was $40 million lower than expected.
- Realty Income Corporation (O) Announces Operating Results For Fourth Quarter And 2020: O reports Q4 FFO of $0.84, $0.01 better than expected. Revenue grew 5.2% to $ 418.1 million, topping expectations by $19.83 million.
February 23, 2021
- The Home Depot, Inc. (HD) Announces Fourth Quarter and Fiscal 2020 Results; HD reports GAAP EPS of $2.65 a 16.2% increase from the prior year and $0.03 above estimates. Revenue grew 25.1% to $32.26 billion, topping expectations by $1.69 billion. HD also announced an increase in its quarterly dividend by 10.0 percent to $1.65 per share.
- The Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) reports first quarter 2021 results; BNS reports GAAP EPS of C$1.86, 1.1% growth compared to the prior year and C$0.30 higher than expected. Revenue declined 0.9% to C$8.07 billion, but topped expectations by C$490 million.
February 24, 2021
- Sampo plc (SAMPO) announces new financial targets and focuses on creating long-term value from P&C insurance operations; SAMPO’s ambition is to organically grow P&C underwriting profits by a mid-single digit percentage per annum. SAMPO will also further focus the group toward its P&C operations by materially reducing its stake in Nordea over the next 18 months.
- Avista Corp. (AVA) Reports Financial Results for Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2020; AVA reports Q4 GAAP EPS of $0.85, an increase of 11.8% and $0.06 ahead of estimates. Revenue improved 4.2% to $368.36 million, which was $52.4 million below analysts' estimates.
- Pinnacle West Capital Corp. (PNW) Reports 2020 Full-Year and Fourth-Quarter Results; PNW reports Q4 GAAP EPS of -$0.17, $0.74 lower than last year and $0.23 lower than expected. Revenue grew 10.5% to $740.96 million, which was $25.29 million more than expected.
- Eaton plc (ETN) increases quarterly dividend; ETN declared a quarterly dividend of $0.76 per ordinary share, an increase of 4 percent over its last quarterly dividend. ETN has paid dividends on its shares every year since 1923.
- VEREIT, Inc. (VER) Announces Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2020 Operating Results; VER reports FFO of $0.76 which was $0.03 below estimates. Revenue decreased 5.8% to $287.9 million, which was $7.64 million lower than expected. VER’s Board of Directors increased the quarterly dividend for the first quarter of 2021 from $0.385 per share to $0.462 per share representing an increase of 20%.
- Royal Bank of Canada (RY) Reports First Quarter 2021 Results; RY reports GAAP EPS of C$2.66, an improvement of 11% from the last year and C$0.47 above estimates. Revenue grew 0.8% to C$12.94 billion and was C$1.36 billion higher than expected
February 25, 2021
- AT&T Inc. ( T) & TPG to Form New Entity to Operate AT&T’s U.S. Video Unit; T and TPG Capital announced that they have signed a definitive agreement under which the two parties will establish a new company named DIRECTV (“New DIRECTV”) that will own and operate AT&T’s U.S. video business unit consisting of the DIRECTV, AT&T TV and U-verse video services. Following the close of the transaction, AT&T will own 70% of the common equity and TPG will own 30%.
- Digital Realty Trust Inc. (DLR) Raises Quarterly Cash Dividend; DLR board of directors has approved a 4% increase in our quarterly common stock cash dividend to $1.16 per share. This marks the 16th consecutive year DLR have grown dividends.
- TD Bank Group Reports First Quarter 2021 Results; TD reports GAAP EPS of C$1.77, a 9.9% increase from the previous year and C$0.36 above estimates. Revenue improved 1.9% to C$10.81 billion, which was C$1.15 billion above analysts' estimates.
- Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CM) Announces First Quarter 2021 Results; CM reports GAAP EPS of C$3.55, a 35.0% increase from the prior year and C$0.75 above estimates. Revenue grew 2.1% to C$4.96 billion, topping expectations by C$200M million.
February 26, 2021
- TC Energy Corporation (TRP) and TC PipeLines, LP announce unitholder approval and effective date of merger; TRP will acquire all of TCP’s outstanding common units not already owned by TC Energy and its affiliates. TCP unitholders are entitled to receive 0.70 common shares of TC Energy for each issued and outstanding publicly-held TCP common unit. All necessary filings have been made for the transaction to take effect on March 3, 2021.
