  • RTX Corporation's (RTX) Raytheon awarded seven-year contract for Tomahawk cruise missiles; Raytheon, an RTX business, will dramatically accelerate the production of Tomahawk cruise missiles for the U.S. Navy over the multi-year period under the terms of an unprecedented $22.9 billion contract, awarded as part of the Department of War's Arsenal of Freedom. This contract follows the landmark agreements between Raytheon and the Department of War and supports the annual production ramp to more than 1,000 Tomahawk missiles and associated support, ensuring a stable, predictable supply for the Navy and allies.


August 18, 2026


  • The Home Depot, Inc. (HD) Announces Second Quarter Fiscal 2026 Results; HD reported second-quarter non-GAAP EPS of $4.92, up 5.1% year over year and $0.19 above analyst expectations. Revenue increased 5.8% to $47.9 billion, exceeding estimates by $660 million. Management continues to expect fiscal 2026 total sales growth of approximately 2.5%–4.5% and adjusted diluted EPS growth ranging from flat to 4%, compared with fiscal 2025 EPS of $14.69.


  • Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) Announces New Portfolio Investment; MAIN announced that it recently completed a new portfolio investment totaling $39.3 million to facilitate the minority recapitalization of Midstream Valve Partners, LLC ("MVP" or the "Company"), a leading value-added distributor of valves, actuators and related flow-control accessories for the energy infrastructure and refining industries.

  • Target Corporation (TGT) Reports Second Quarter Earnings; TGT reported second-quarter non-GAAP EPS of $4.11, up 100% year over year and $1.77 above analyst expectations. Results included a $1.65-per-share benefit from tariff refunds; excluding this benefit, adjusted EPS increased 20% year over year. Revenue rose 5.3% to $26.54 billion, exceeding estimates by $400 million. For full-year 2026, management now expects net sales growth of approximately 5%, one percentage point above its previous outlook. The company also updated its adjusted EPS guidance to $9.90–$10.90, including the approximately $1.65-per-share benefit from second-quarter tariff refunds. Excluding tariff refunds, the midpoint of the guidance range represents a $0.75 increase compared with the previous guidance range of $7.50–$8.50.

  • Flowers Foods, Inc. (FLO) Reports Second Quarter 2026 Results; FLO reported second-quarter non-GAAP EPS of $0.21, down 30% year over year and $0.01 below analyst expectations. Revenue decreased 4.0% to $1.19 billion, missing estimates by $40 million. For fiscal 2026, management expects net sales of approximately $5.070–$5.142 billion, representing a decline of 3.5% to 2.2% from the prior year. The company also lowered its adjusted diluted EPS guidance to approximately $0.75–$0.85 per share from its previous range of $0.80–$0.90.
