Bank OZK (OZK) Dividend Increase: Consistent Quarterly Growth Continues

On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the Board of Directors of Bank OZK (OZK) announced a quarterly dividend increase from $0.47 to $0.48 per share. The dividend will be payable on July 20, 2026, to shareholders of record as of July 13, 2026. This represents a 2.13% increase over the previous quarterly dividend.

Steady Quarterly Growth

This marks another step in OZK’s long-standing pattern of quarterly dividend increases, now reaching 64 consecutive quarters of raises. On a year-over-year basis, the dividend has grown by 9.1%, highlighting the consistency of its growth model.

Current Dividend Yield and Income Impact

At yesterday’s closing price of $52.85, this increase brings OZK’s forward dividend yield to approximately 3.63%.

As an owner of 140 shares of Bank OZK, this dividend increase adds $4.17 to my projected annual net dividend income.

Long-Term Dividend Growth Track Record

Bank OZK is a Dividend Champion with a 30-year streak of dividend increases. Its dividend growth rates remain strong:

  • 1-year: 10.1%
  • 3-year: 11.4%
  • 5-year: 10.1%
  • 10-year: 12.2%

This recent increase marks the seventh consecutive raise I’ve received since initiating my position in September 2024. Over that time, the quarterly dividend has grown from $0.41 to $0.48 per share—an increase of approximately 17.1%.

Commentary

The increase was fully in line with my expectations, and I’m happy to accept another steady step forward. OZK continues to execute its strategy of small but frequent quarterly increases, which compounds nicely over time.

At the time of writing, OZK represents about 0.74% of my portfolio and contributes approximately 0.71% of my projected annual dividend income. Following this increase, my yield on cost stands at 4.77%.

Quick Valuation Take

At current levels, OZK appears reasonably valued. The yield has compressed somewhat due to the recent share price increase, but the bank still offers an attractive combination of yield and double-digit dividend growth.

Dividend Safety and Outlook

The dividend appears well covered, supported by strong profitability and a conservative payout ratio. OZK’s disciplined approach to capital allocation supports its ability to continue frequent, incremental dividend increases.

If current trends persist, investors can likely expect continued high-single to low-double-digit annual dividend growth, delivered through quarterly raises.

Final Thoughts

Another predictable and steady increase from OZK. While not exciting on a quarterly basis, the consistency and compounding effect make this a very attractive long-term dividend growth holding.

OZK continues to quietly deliver exactly what I expect from it—and that’s a good thing.
