- I purchased 13 shares of JPM US Equity Premium Income Active UCITS ETF USD Dist (JEIP.DE) at €23.92 per share plus commission.
Based on the latest announcement, for December JEIP pays a dividend of $0.1533, if the dividend remains at this level in the future, it will be $1.84 per year. At today's exchange rate, that purchase 13 shares of JEIP will increase €16.26 of my expected annual net dividend income. After this acquisition my yield on cost is 7.47%, JEIP’s weight of my portfolio is about 0.24% and its share of future annual dividend income is approximately 0.38%. For now, my plan is to increase the amount of JEIP in my portfolio on a monthly basis.
- I purchased 35 shares of JPM Nasdaq Equity Premium Income Active UCITS ETF USD Dist (JEQP.DE) at €25.21 per share plus commission.
Based on the latest announcement, for December JEPQ pays a dividend of $0.1904, if the dividend remains at this level in the future, it will be $2.28 per year. At today's exchange rate, that purchase 35 shares of JEQP will increase €54.24 of my expected annual net dividend income. After this acquisition my yield on cost is 9.04%, JEIP’s weight of my portfolio is about 0.19% and its share of future annual dividend income is approximately 0.35%. For now, my plan is to increase the amount of JEIP in my portfolio on a monthly basis.

- L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (LHX) Completes Sale of Specialized Materials Business to BWXT; LHX has completed the sale of its specialized materials business, Aerojet Ordnance Tennessee, Inc. (A.O.T.), to BWX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BWXT) for approximately $100 million.
- The Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) enters into an agreement to transfer banking operations in Colombia, Costa Rica and Panama; BNS announced it has entered into an agreement to transfer banking operations of its Colombia, Costa Rica, and Panama businesses to Davivienda in exchange for an ~20% stake in the combined banking operations.
January 7, 2025
- NCC AB (NCC) to construct arts center in Aalborg; NCC has been commissioned by Ejendomsfonden Artcenter Spritten to refurbish and remodel the listed Spritten factory buildings and convert them into an arts center in Aalborg, Denmark. The order value is approximately SEK 190 million.
January 8, 2025
- Flowers Foods, Inc. (FLO) to Acquire Simple Mills; FLO announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Simple Mills for $795 million in cash. The addition of Simple Mills expands Flowers’ exposure to better-for-you and attractive snacking segments and enhances the company’s growth and margin prospects.
- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) has been awarded a $678.4M U.S. Navy modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price order against a previously awarded basic ordering agreement.
- General Dynamics Corporation (GD) has been awarded a not-to-exceed $188M undefinitized contract action modification from the U.S. Navy to previously awarded contract for Construction Spares associated with the Virginia Class Block V submarines.
- RTX Corporation (RTX) has been awarded a $333.28M U.S. Navy contract for Standard Missile-6 (SM-6) full rate production requirements, spares, and round design agent.
- United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) Completes Acquisitions of Frigo-Trans and BPL; UPS announced that it has completed the acquisition of Frigo-Trans and its sister company BPL, which provide industry-leading, complex healthcare logistics solutions across Europe.
- W. P. Carey Inc. (WPC) Announces 2024 Investment Volume of $1.6 Billion; WPC announced investment volume for the 2024 full year of approximately $1.6 billion at a weighted-average initial cap rate of approximately 7.5% and an average yield of approximately 9%. During 2024, the company remained primarily focused on acquiring high-quality, single-tenant warehouse and industrial properties, which comprised close to 60% of its full-year investment volume, with retail properties comprising approximately 30%.
January 9, 2025
- Chevron Corporation (CVX) bolsters U.S. gulf of mexico production with whale facility startup; CVX announced the start of oil production from the Whale semi-submersible platform in the deepwater U.S. Gulf of Mexico. Chevron U.S.A. Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Chevron Corporation, owns 40% working interest in Whale, with Shell Offshore Inc. owning 60% interest as operator.
- Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNQ) Announces 2025 Budget; CNQ plans to boost production by 12% and capital spending by 13.5% in 2025, anticipating resilient demand for Canadian crude in the U.S. and international markets. CNQ is targeting production at 1.51M-1.55M boe/day for 2025, resulting in production growth of ~170K boe/day, or 12% over 2024 levels based on the midpoint of corporate guidance.
January 10, 2025
- NN Group N.V. (AMS:NN) completes sale of NN Hayat ve Emeklilik; NN announces the completion of the sale of its Turkish operations to Zurich Türkiye. The completion of the transaction follows the fulfilment of the customary closing conditions, including receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals. The agreement on the sale of NN Hayat ve Emeklilik was announced on 25 September 2024.
