Dividend Income - September 2023

The last quarter of the year is well underway and it's time to report my dividend income for September. The dividend income for the last month of the third quarter was as follows:

My Total dividends in September are €3,014.62 ($3,229.73). After taxes, my net dividend income is €2,239.61 ($2,399.47). In year 2022, my net dividend income in September was €2,189.87 ($2,173.21). My portfolio's net dividend income increased by €49.74 or 2.3% to compared the same month of previous year. Compared to the previous year, there have been some changes to the dividend income of September: Two new dividend payers have been added to the portfolio, namely NN.AS and PPL.TO, GLNG reinstated the dividend payment after a break of a few years, additional purchase such ARCC, LYB, MAIN, O, MFC, ENB and FTS. Compared to a year ago, the holdings also included some nice dividend increases like NEE, COP, HD, MDC and ADM but unfortunately also dividend cut from INTC, VFC and SDIV.

This net passive income of €2,239.61 means that I received a reasonable €74.65 every day or €3.11 per every hour during September, no matter what I did. Until the end of third quarter, the corresponding amounts are €59.56 per day and €2.48 per hour.

This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 150,573.44.

Net income / expenditure

  • Net passive income for September was €2,239.61, by to end of September total of €16,258,55

  • Total expenditure for September was €1,480,50 by to end of September total of €13,218.31

  • The result for September was €759.11, by to end of September total of €3,040.24

I have now collected 72.0% of my target net passive income for this year, which is € 22,500.00. After dividend cut announcements such as AQN, INTC, VFC and MPW, it is already clear that I will not reach my target in euros this year. At the moment it looks like I will miss my target by about €500.
