  • Electric Boat, a business unit of General Dynamics, announced today it was awarded a $217 million contract for long lead time material associated with the construction of Virginia-class submarines SSN 814 and SSN 815.


  • RTX Corporation (RTX) Integrated Defense System has secured a $156.19 million contract for Patriot ground support equipment, spares and component procurement.


October 17, 2023


  • Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) Reports Q3 2023 Results; JNJ reports third quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $2.66, 19.3% above from last year and $0.14 ahead of estimates. Revenue grew 6.8% to $21.35 billion, topping estimates $300 million. For FY2023 Management guides revenue of $83.6B-$84B from prior guidance of $83.2B-$84B and adj. EPS of $10.07-$10.13 from prior guidance of $10.00-$10.10.


  • Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) Reports Third Quarter 2023 Financial Results; LMT reports Non-GAAP EPS of $6.77 , beating analyst estimates by $0.15 but decreasing 1.5% year-over-year. Revenue of $16.88 billion beats analyst estimates by $160 million and increased 1.8% versus the same quarter last year. For FY2023 Management guides net sales of $66.25B - $66.75B and diluted EPS of $27 to $27.2.



October 18, 2023


  • Tele2 AB (TEL2) Interim Report Third Quarter 2023; TEL2 reports third quarter EPS of SEK1.54, 6.9% above last year's result and SEK0.10 more than expected. Revenue of SEK7,253 million misses analyst estimates by SEK127 million and increased 2.4% versus the same quarter last year.


  • Pinnacle West Capital Corporation (PNW) Increases Quarterly Dividend; PNW's board of directors raise the company’s dividend by about 1.7%, or 6 cents per common share annually. This action will result in an indicated annual dividend of $3.52 per share – or $0.88 per share quarterly. The declared quarterly dividend is payable Dec. 1, 2023, to shareholders of record at the close of business Nov. 1, 2023.


  • Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) Reports Third Quarter 2023 Financial Results; KMI reports Non-GAAP EPS of $0.25, equal to the comparable period and $0.01 less than expected. Revenue of $3.91 billion misses analyst estimates by $760 million and decreased 24.5% versus the same quarter last year. For 2023, Management budgeted net income attributable to KMI of $2.5 billion ($1.12 per share), dividends of $1.13 per share, a 2% increase from the dividends declared for 2022 and budgeted 2023 DCF of $4.8 billion ($2.13 per share).


  • The Procter & Gamble Company (PG) Announces Fiscal Year 2024 First Quarter Results; PG reports Non-GAAP EPS of $1.83, beating analyst estimates by $0.11 by increasing 17% year-over-year. Revenue grew 6.1% to $21.87 billion, topping estimates by $290 million. Management guides all-in sales growth to be in the range of two to four percent versus the prior year, diluted net earnings per share growth in the range of six to nine percent versus fiscal 2023 EPS of $5.90 and djusted free cash flow productivity of 90% and expects to pay more than $9 billion in dividends and to repurchase $5 to $6 billion of common shares in fiscal 2024.



  • Crown Castle Inc. (CCI) Reports Third Quarter 2023 Results; CCI reports FFO of $1.77 , missing analyst estimates by $0.03 and decreasing 4% year-over-year. Revenue of $1.67 billion misses analyst estimates by $20 million but decreased 4.6% versus the same quarter last year. For FY23 Management guides site rental revenues of $6.51B unchanged from prior outlook, AFFO per share of $7.54 and for FY24 site rental revenues of $6.37B, AFFO per share of $6.91.


October 19, 2023


  • Nordea Bank Abp (NDA) Reports Third-Quarter Results 2023; NDA reports third-quarter quarter Diluted earnings per share of €0.38, 41% above from last year and €0.02 ahead of estimates. Revenue of €2,952 million misses analyst estimates by €28 million but increased 19% versus the same quarter last year. NDA’s CET1 ratio increased to 16.3% from 16.0%.



  • AT&T Inc. (T) Reports Third Quarter 2023 Results; T reports Non-GAAP EPS of $0.64, beating analyst estimates by $0.02 but decreasing 5.9% year-over-year. Revenue grew 1.0% to $30.35 billion, topping estimates by $110 million. T also reported a $5.2B increase in free cash flow to $1.3B Y/Y, and expects a full-year free cash flow of around $16.5B, compared to prior guidance of $16B or better.


  • Philip Morris International Inc. (PM) Reports 2023 Third-Quarter Results; PM reports third quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $1.675, 20.3% above last year's result and $0.05 more than expected. Revenue of $9.14 billion misses analyst estimates by $80 million but increased 13.8% versus the same quarter last year. Management are raising full-year growth outlook for adjusted diluted EPS to a range of 10.0% to 10.5%, excluding currency.



October 20, 2023


  • UPM-Kymmene Corporation (UPM) Closes Plattling Mill in Germany; In July UPM announced plans to permanently close its Plattling mill in Germany to align graphic paper capacity to the customer demand. The participation process with the employee representatives has now been completed and the mill will cease its production latest by the end of November 2023.
