  • Viatris Inc. (VTRS) Reports Third Quarter 2022 Results; VTRS reports GAAP EPS of $0.29, beating analyst estimates by $0.10 and increased 11.5% year-over-year. Revenue of $4.07 billion misses analyst estimates by $70 million and decreased 10% versus the same quarter last year. Management is reaffirming its 2022 financial guidance.

 

  • Viatris Inc. (VTRS) Announces Two Acquisitions; VTRS announced that it intends to create an ophthalmology franchise by acquiring Oyster Point Pharma for $11.00 per share in cash plus a contingent value right and also expects to acquire Famy Life Sciences. Management anticipates these acquisitions have the potential to add at least $1 billion in sales by 2028.

 

 

November 8, 2022

 

  • Aflac Incorporated (AFL) Increased Quarter Dividend; AFL announced that its Board of Directors has declared the first quarter dividend of $0.42 per share, payable on March 1, 2023, to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 15, 2023. This represents a 5.0% increase over the previously declared fourth quarter dividend.

 

  • Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (APD) to Receive Approximately $475 Million (CAD) in Funding for Alberta, Canada Net-Zero Hydrogen Energy Complex from Government Energy Transition Programs

 

November 9, 2022

 

  • Ahold Delhaize N.V. (AMS:AD) Reports Third Quarter 2022 Results; AD reports Non-GAAP EPS of €0.70, a 31.6% increase from the previous year. Revenue grew 20.8% to €22.4 billion. Management now forecast low-double-digit 2022 diluted underlying EPS growth versus the prior mid-single-digit guidance. The 2022 free cash flow outlook remains at approximately €2.0 billion, with net capital expenditures expected to total approximately €2.5 billion.

 

 

  • WestRock Company (WRK) To Sell Ownership Interest in RTS Packaging; WRK announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to wholly divest its ownership interest in RTS Packaging, LLC, to joint venture partner Sonoco Products Company for $330 million, subject to customary price adjustments. In addition, the Company has signed a definitive agreement to sell its uncoated recycled paperboard (URB) mills in Eaton, Indiana, and Aurora, Illinois, to Ox Industries for $50 million.

 

 

 

 

  • TC Energy Corporation (TRP) Reports Third Quarter 2022 Results; TRP reports third quarter Non-GAAP EPS of C$1.07, an 8.1% above from last year and C$0925 ahead of estimates. Revenue grew 17.3% to C$ 3.799 billion, topping estimates C$ 258 million. Management guides 2022 comparable earnings per common share are expected to be consistent with 2021.

  • Flowers Foods, Inc. (FLO) Reports Third Quarter 2022 Results; FLO reports Non-GAAP EPS of $0.30, which was the same as a year earlier and $0.01 higher than expected. Revenue grew 12.6% to $1.16 billion, topping estimates $20 million. Management guides for FY 2022 sales in the range of approximately $4.807 billion to $4.850 billion, representing an increase of approximately 11.0% to 12.0% and adjusted EPS in the range of approximately $1.25 to $1.30.

  • Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN) Announces 2022 Third Quarter Financial Results; AQN reports Non-GAAP EPS of $0.11, missing analyst estimates by $0.05 and decreasing 27% year-over-year. Revenue grew 26.1% to $ 666.7 million, topping estimates $ 71.94 million. Management is updating its previously-disclosed Adjusted Net Earnings per common share estimate for the 2022 fiscal year from a range of $0.72-$0.77 to a range of $0.66-$0.69.
