  • TC Energy Corporation (TRP) to develop renewable natural gas production facility at Jack Daniel Distillery; TRP announced a $29.3 million investment in a renewable natural gas (RNG) production facility near the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, TN. Owned by Lynchburg Renewable Fuels LLC, the facility will produce RNG with a carbon intensity score that is 50 per cent lower than traditional natural gas, saving up to 16,000 tonnes of CO2e/ year. The project is being developed by 3 Rivers Energy Partners, LLC, also an owner in Lynchburg Renewable Fuels.

  • Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) Reports Q3 2022 Results; JNJ reports third quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $2.55, a 1.9% decline from last year but $0.06 ahead of estimates. Revenue of $23.8 billion beats analyst estimates by $360 million and increased 2% versus the same quarter last year. For FY2022 management guides revenue of $93B-$93.5B from prior guidance of $93.3B-$94.3B and adjusted EPS of $10.02-$10.07 from prior guidance of $10.00-$10.10.

 

  • Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) Reports Third Quarter 2022 Financial Results; LMT reports Non-GAAP EPS of $6.87, beating analyst estimates by $0.15 and increased 4.1% year-over-year. Revenue of $16.58 billion misses analyst estimates by $110 million albeit increased 3.4% versus the same quarter last year. Management expect 2022 net sales to be about $65.25 billion and diluted EPS of about $21.55.

  • Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) Reports Third Quarter Results; KMI reports Non-GAAP EPS of $0.25, missing analyst estimates by $0.04 but increased 14% year-over-year. Revenue of $5.18 billion beats analyst estimates by $630 million and increased 35.6% versus the same quarter last year. For 2022, company budgeted to generate net income attributable to KMI of $2.5 billion and declare dividends of $1.11 per share, a 3% increase from the dividends declared for 2021.

  • Orion Corporation (ORION) Interim Report 1–9/2022; ORION reports third quarter basic EPS of € 1.38, a 328% increase year-over-year but € 0.22 less as estimates. Revenue grew 104% to € 491.8 million, missing estimates by € 3.7 million. Management estimates that net sales in 2022 will be clearly higher than in 2021 (net sales in 2021 were EUR 1,041 million). Operating profit is estimated to be clearly higher than in 2021 (operating profit in 2021 was EUR 243 million).

 

  • Nordea Bank Abp (NDA) Reports Third-Quarter Results 2022; NDA reports third quarter diluted EPS of €0.27, 8% above last year's result and €0.01 higher than expected. Revenue improved 2% to $2,501 million, €57 million higher than expected. For FY2022 management expects a return on equity of above 11% and a cost-to-income ratio of 48–49% for 2022.

 

 

  • AT&T Inc. (T) Reports Third-Quarter Results; T reports third quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $0.68, a 3% above from last year and $0.07 ahead of estimates. Revenue of $30 billion beats analyst estimates by $140 million albeit decreased 4.2% versus the same quarter last year. Management now expect adjusted EPS from continuing operations for the full year to be $2.50 or higher from prior outlook of $2.42-$2.46.

 

  • Pinnacle West Capital Corporation (PNW) Increases Quarterly Dividend; PNW ’s board of directors voted to raise dividend by 1.8 percent, or 6 cents per share annually. This action will result in an indicated annual dividend of $3.46 per share – or $0.865 per share quarterly. The declared quarterly dividend is payable Dec. 1, 2022, to shareholders of record at the close of business Nov. 1, 2022.

 

  • Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) Health Care Systems DePuy Synthes has been awarded a maximum ~$244.31M fixed-price, ID/IQ contract for orthopedic procedural packages and supplies.

 

  • AbbVie Inc. (ABBV) Acquires DJS Antibodies; ABBV announced the acquisition of DJS Antibodies Ltd ("DJS"), a privately-held UK-based biotechnology company for $255M in cash to strengthen its immunology pipeline.

 

 

  • Philip Morris International Inc. (PM) Reports 2022 Third-Quarter Results; PM reports Non-GAAP EPS of $1.53, beating analyst estimates by $0.17 but decreased 3.8% year-over-year. Revenue of $8.03 billion beats analyst estimates by $730 million but decreased 1.1% versus the same quarter last year. Management targets 2022 Full-Year adjusted diluted EPS of $5.81 to $5.96.

 

 

October 21, 2022

 

  • Telia Company (TELIA) Interim Report January-September 2022; TELIA reports EPS of SEK 0.42, which was SEK 0.06 below expectations albeit increased 10.2% year-over-year. Revenue grew 5.6% to SEK 22,456 million, topping estimates by SEK 337 million. For 2022, both the operational free cash flow and the structural part of operational free cash flow are xpected to be below the minimum dividend commitment of SEK 7.9 billion.

 

  • Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) Reports 3Q Results; VZ reports Non-GAAP EPS of $1.32, a 7% decrease from the previous year but $0.03 higher than expected. Revenue increased 4% to $34.2 billion, $410 million more than expected. Management expect for full-year 2022 adjusted EPS of $5.10 to $5.25.

 

  • Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) awarded a $476.81M hybrid contract for the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System.
