  • I opened a new position and purchased 20 shares of Best Buy Co., Inc. (BBY) at $ 91.45 per share plus commission.

 

At today's exchange rate that purchase 20 shares of BBY will increase € 49.74 of my expected annual net dividend income. After this acquisition, BBY’s weight of my portfolio is about 0.23% and its share of future annual dividend income is approximately 0.25%.

  • NCC AB (NCC) to build residentials for students in Oslo; NCC has signed an agreement with the Foundation for Student Life (SiO) for the construction of 209 student housing units in Oslo. The project will commence in May and is expected to be completed during the autumn 2024.

 

 

  • Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) awarded a $106.4M cost-plus-incentive-fee and cost only modification to previously awarded contract N00024-20-C-5601 to exercise options for sustainment of the Littoral Combat Ship (or LCS) Component Based Total Ship System – 21st Century (COMBATSS-21) and associated Combat System elements.

 

  • Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTX) Increases Quarterly Dividend; RTX’s Board of Directors declared a dividend of 55 cents per outstanding share of RTX common stock, which represents an increase of 7.8 percent over the prior quarter’s dividend amount. The dividend will be payable on June 16, 2022 to shareowners of record on May 20, 2022.


 

April 26, 2022

 

  • Fortum Corporation’s (FORTUM) subsidiary Uniper issues a negative profit warning; FORTUM s subsidiary Uniper has today published a stock exchange release with a negative profit warning related to its first quarter 2022 results. Despite the deviation in the first quarter results, Uniper reiterates its full-year result guidance for 2022 and expects an adjusted EBIT of EUR 1.0 to 1.3 billion and adjusted net income of EUR 0.8 to 1.1 billion.

 

  • UPM-Kymmene Corporation (UPM) Reports First Quarter 2022 Earnings; UPM reports earnings per share of €0.42, beating estimates by €0.09 and was in line with the previous year. Revenues grew by 12.2% to €2.51 billion beating analyst estimates by €190 million. The strike in Finland affected production and delivery volumes especially in the pulp, paper and biofuels businesses.

 

  • Texas Instruments Incorporated (TXN) Reports First-Quarter 2022 Results; TXN reports first quarter GAAP EPS of $2.35, a 26% above from last year and $0.18 ahead of estimates. Revenue grew 14.5% to $4.91 billion, topping estimates $180 million. For second quarter management expect revenue to be in the range of $4.20 billion to $4.80 billion and earnings per share between $1.84 and $2.26.

 

 

  • PepsiCo, Inc. (PEP) Reports First-Quarter 2022 Results; PEP reports first quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $1.29, 7% above last year's result and $0.06 higher than expected. Revenue improved 9.3% to $16.2 billion, $660 million higher than expected. For FY2022 management expects an 8% increase in organic revenue, total cash returns to shareholders of approximately $7.7B, comprised of dividends of $6.2Bn and share repurchases of $1.5B; core earnings per share of $6.63.

 

  • Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTX) Reports Q1 2022 Results; RTX reports first quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $1.15, 28% above last year's result and $0.13 higher than expected. Revenue improved 3.1% to $15.72 billion, $110 million less than expected. For FY2022 management expects adjusted EPS of $4.60 - $4.80, sales of $67.75B - $68.75B and share repurchase of at least $2.5B.

 

  • United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) Releases 1Q 2022 Earnings; UPS reports first quarter GAAP EPS of $3.05, 10.1% higher than the prior year and $0.16 above estimates. Revenue improved 6.5% to $24.4 billion, $600 million better than expected. Management reaffirms full-year 2022 financial guidance; raises targeted share repurchases to $2B for 2022.

 

 

 

  • Canadian National Railway Company (CNR) Reports First Quarter Results; CNR reports Non-GAAP EPS of C$1.32 7% higher than the prior year but C$0.07 below estimates.. Revenue increased 4.8% to C$3.71 billion, topping estimates by C$40 million. CNR now expects to deliver approximately 15-20% adjusted diluted EPS growth (compared to its January 25, 2022 target of 20%) and targeting free cash flow in the range of C$3.7 billion - C$4.0 billion in 2022 (compared to its January 25, 2022 target of approximately C$4.0 billion).

  • The Kraft Heinz Company (KHC) Reports First Quarter 2022 Results; KHC reports first quarter of fiscal 2021 Non-GAAP EPS of $0.60, a 16.7% decline from last year but $0.07 ahead of estimates. Revenue declined 5.3% to $6.05 billion, topping estimates $250 million. KHC continues to expect Adjusted EBITDA to be in the range of $5.8 billion to $6.0 billion.

 

  • Amgen Inc. (AMGN) Reports First Quarter 2022 Financial Results; AMGN reports first quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $4.25, 15% above last year's result and $0.12 higher than expected. Revenue improved 5.1% to $6.2 billion, $90 million higher than expected. 2022 total revenues guidance reaffirmed at $25.4-$26.5 billion, EPS guidance revised to $12.53-$13.58 on a GAAP basis, and reaffirmed at $17.00-$18.00 on a non-GAAP basis.

 

 

  • Aflac Incorporated (AFL) Announces First Quarter Results; AFL reports first quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $1.42, a decline of 7.2% year-over-year but $0.05 ahead of estimates. Revenue of $5.3 billion beats analyst estimates by $160 million but decreases 9.7% versus the same quarter last year.

 

 

April 28, 2022

 

  • Orion Corporation (ORION) Interim Report 1-3/2022; ORION reports first quarter earnings per share of €0.41, 3.8% lower than the prior year. Revenue grew 0.74% to €271 million and was €3 million higher than expected. The outlook for 2022 remains unchanged.

 

 

 

 

 

  • Gilead Sciences, Inc. (GILD) Announces First Quarter 2022 Financial Results; GILD reports first quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $2.12, 4% higher than the prior year and $0.31 above estimates. Revenue improved 2.6% to $6.59 billion, $310 million better than expected. For the full-year, GILD guides total product sales between $23.8 billion and $24.3 billion and Non-GAAP earnings per share between $6.20 and $6.70.

 

  • Baxter International Inc. (BAX) Reports First-Quarter 2022 Results; BAX reports Non-GAAP EPS of $0.93, a 22% increase from the previous year and $0.12 higher than expected. Revenue increased 25.8% to $3.71 billion, $30 million more than expected. BAX expects FY2022 sales growth of 23% to 24% on a reported basis and adjusted EPS of $4.12 to $4.20.

 

  • Altria Group, Inc. (MO) Reports 2022 First-Quarter Results; MO reports first quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $1.12, 4.7% above last year's result and $0.03 higher than expected. Revenue declined 1.2% to $4.82 billion, $60 million below estimates. MO reaffirm guidance to deliver 2022 full-year adjusted diluted EPS in a range of $4.79 to $4.93.

 

 

 

  • Lazard Ltd (LAZ) Reports First-quarter 2022 Results; LAZ reports first quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $1.05, 21% above last year's result and $0.17 higher than expected. Revenue improved 7.9% to $6.99 million, $21.4 million higher than expected. AUM as of March 31, 2022, was $253 billion, down 8% from December 31, 2021, and down 5% from March 31, 2021.

  • Kesko Corporation (KESKO) Interim Report for January–March 2022; KESKO reports first quarter earnings per share of €0.26, 30% higher than the prior year and €0.05 ahead of estimates. Revenue grew 6.6% to €2,707 million and was €40 million higher than expected. KESKO estimates that its comparable operating profit in 2022 will be in the range of €730-840 million.

 

  • Bonava AB (BONAVA) Interim report for the first quarter 2022; BONAVA reports first quarter earnings per share of SEK 0.72.  Revenue grew 55.2% to SEK 2,863 million. For full-year 2022, we have revised our estimate for number ofproduction starts from 6,000 to 4,200 mainly due to the windingdown of St. Petersburg operations and being cautious given the market situation.

 

 

  • AbbVie Inc. (ABBV) Reports First-Quarter 2022 Financial Results; ABBV reports first quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $3.16, 9.3% above last year's result and $0.02 higher than expected. Revenue improved 4.1% to $13.54 billion, $70 million less than expected. Management updates 2022 Adjusted Diluted EPS guidance range from $14.00 - $14.20 to $13.92 - $14.12.

 

 

  • Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) awarded a ~$224 modification (P00033) to contract W31P4Q-19-C-0077 for the recapitalization of the Multiple Launch Rocket System into the M270A2 configuration and a $304M modification (P00051) to a previously-awarded (HQ0147-17-C-0032) contract to exercise an option.

 

  • Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTX) awarded a $102.19M firm-fixed-price contract for fiscal 2022 Navy and Foreign Military Sales procurements for Rolling Airframe Missile Block 2/2A Guided Missile Round Pack, spare replacement components and recertification.

 

  • W. P. Carey Inc. (WPC) Announces First Quarter 2022 Financial Results; WPC reports first quarter FFO of $1.35, a 10.7% increase from the previous year and $0.11 ahead of estimates. Revenue increased 12% to $348.44 million, topping estimates by $7.48 million. WPC maintained 2022 AFFO guidance range of between $5.18 and $5.30 per diluted share.

 

  • Magna International Inc. (MGA) Announces First Quarter 2022 Results; MGA reports Non-GAAP EPS of $1.28, beating analyst estimates by $0.18 but decreasing 31.2% year-over-year. Revenue of $9.64 billion beats analyst estimates by $610 million but decreases 5.3% versus the same quarter last year. FY2022 MGA lowered total sales forecast from $38.8 - $40.4 billion to $37.3 - $38.9 billion.

 

  • TC Energy Corporation (TRP) reports first quarter 2022 result; TRP reports Non-GAAP EPS of C$1.12, 3.45% lower than the prior year but C$0.01 higher than expected. Comparable EBITDA declined 4.06% to C$2.39 billion. Management expect 2022 comparable EBITDA to be modestly higher than 2021 and 2022 comparable earnings per common share outlook is expected to be consistent with 2021.
