  • Duke Energy Corporation (DUK) Reports First-Quarter Results; DUK reports Non-GAAP EPS of $1.30, missing analyst estimates by $0.03 albeit increased 3.2% year-over-year. Revenue of $7.13 billion beats analyst estimates by $810 million while increased 15.9% versus the same quarter last year. Management reaffirms 2022 adjusted EPS guidance range of $5.30 to $5.60 and longterm adjusted EPS growth rate of 5% to 7% through 2026 off 2021.

 

  • Viatris Inc. (VTRS) Reports First-Quarter 2022 Results; VTRS reports GAAP EPS of $0.33, beating analyst estimates by $0.25. Revenue of $4.19 billion misses analyst estimates by $70 million and decreased 4.8% versus the same quarter last year. For FY22 VTRS guides total revenue of $17 billion-$17.5 billion and FCF of $2.5 billion-$2.9 billion.

  • Pfizer Inc. (PFE) to Acquire Biohaven Pharmaceuticals; PFE and Biohaven Pharmaceutical Holding Company Ltd. (BHVN) today announced that the companies have entered into a definitive agreement under which Pfizer will acquire Biohaven. PFE will acquire all outstanding shares of Biohaven not already owned by Pfizer for $148.50 per share in cash.

 

 

  • Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTX) won a $272.7M logistics requirements contract from U.S. Navy.

  • Ahold Delhaize N.V. (AMS:AD) Reports First-Quarter 2022 Results; AD reports Non-GAAP EPS of €0.55, a 1.3% increase from the prior year. Revenues grew by 8.2% to €19.8 billion. Management expects underlying EPS to be comparable with 2021 levels and reiterates the rest of the 2022 full-year outlook including: underlying operating margin to be at least 4%; free cash flow of approximately €1.7 billion; and net capital expenditures of €2.5 billion.

 

  • General Mills, Inc. (GIS) Agrees to Acquire TNT Crust; GIS announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire TNT Crust, a manufacturer of high-quality frozen pizza crusts for regional and national pizza chains, foodservice distributors, and retail outlets. TNT Crust is currently a portfolio company of Peak Rock Capital. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction, expected to close in the first quarter of fiscal 2023.

 

  • Cardinal Health, Inc. (CAH) has been awarded a maximum $2.25B modification (P00046) exercising the second 30-month option period of a 30-month base contract (SPE2DV-17-D0001) with three 30-month option periods for worldwide ordering and distribution of consumable, commercial, brand name and generic medical surgical supplies.

  • Fortum Corporation (FORTUM) Reports First-Quarter Results; FORTUM reports comparable earnings per share of € -0.11 compared €0.94 for the prior year. Revenue increased to €43 623 million from €21 493 million in the comparable period, compared to an average of €43 310 million forecast by analysts. FORTUM's reported figures reflected the weak first-half performance of subsidiary Uniper and more than EUR 2 billion of write-downs related to Russia.

 

  • Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) was awarded a $129,040,507 modification to contract W56KGY-21-C-0010 for the purchase of six radar systems, spares, tool kits, remote computer display units, integrated computer systems, training, contractor technical assistance, field service representatives, software support and program management.

 

 

  • Digital Realty Trust, Inc. (DLR) Contracts for 158 Megawatts of New Renewable Energy in California and Georgia; DLR that it is contracting for 158 MW of new solar power in California and Georgia which is a step towards 100% renewable electricity and its 1.5 degree C-aligned Science Based Targets initiative. The contracts include a 12-year agreement to support the development of a new 130 MW utility-scale solar project in Kern County, California. The project, developed by Terra-Gen as part of its Edwards Sanborn Solar Storage energy project, is one of the largest solar-plus-storage projects in the world and is expected to be completed in late-2022.

 

  • LTC Properties, Inc. (LTC) Closes $36 Million Investment in Four-Property Assisted Living Portfolio and Land Parcel; LTC announced a $36.0 million investment for the refinancing of debt on four assisted living communities and a land parcel. The four assisted living communities located in North Carolina have a combined total of 217 units, and are operated by an existing LTC partner. The communities are newly constructed with an average age of under four years. The land parcel includes approximately 7.6 acres adjacent to one of the assisted living communities and is being held for the future development of a senior housing community.

  • Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) is awarded a $397.73M firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (P00003) to a previously awarded ID/IQ contract (N0001921D0001).
