  • I purchased 5 shares of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (APD) at $ 230.85 per share plus commission.

 

At today's exchange rate that purchase 5 shares of APD will increase € 22.09 of my expected annual net dividend income. After this acquisition, APD’s weight of my portfolio is about 0.45% and its share of future annual dividend income is approximately 0.35%.

  • ONEOK, Inc. (OKE) Reports Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2021 Results; OKE reports GAAP EPS of $0.85, a 23.2% increase from last year but $0.04 below estimates. Management guides for fiscal 2022 13% increase of net income midpoint to $1.69 billion, 7% increase of adjusted EBITDA midpoint to $3.62 billion, Total capital expenditures midpoint of $975 million and GAAP EPS to be in the range of $3.45-$4.07.

 

  • Viatris Inc. (VTRS) Reports Fourth Quarter and Full-Year 2021 Financial Results; VTRS reports a fourth quarter GAAP EPS of -$0.22 which was $0.45 below estimates. Revenue grew by 20.6% to $4.33 billion, but was $10 million below expectations. VTRS announced sale of its biosimilar assets to India's Biocon Biologics for up to $3.335B. VTRS announced that its Board of Directors has authorized a share repurchase program of up to $1 billion. Management expects 2022 total revenue of $17B-$17.5B, FCF of $2.5B-$2.9B.

 

  • W. P. Carey Inc. (WPC) Announces Proposed Merger with CPA®:18; WPC announced that its Board of Directors has unanimously approved entry into a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which Corporate Property Associates 18 – Global Incorporated ("CPA:18") will be acquired by W. P. Carey in a transaction valued at approximately $2.7 billion, including the assumption of debt. The transaction has also been approved by CPA:18's Board of Directors upon the unanimous recommendation of a Special Committee of CPA:18's independent directors.

  • Target Corporation (TGT) Reports Fourth Quarter and Full-Year 2021 Earnings; TGT reports Non-GAAP EPS of $3.19, beating estimates by $0.34 and 19.5% growth year-over-year. Revenues grew by 9.4% to $31 billion missing analyst estimates by $380 million. Management expects low- to mid-single digit revenue growth, an operating margin rate of 8 percent or higher, low-single digit growth in operating margin dollars, and high-single digit growth in adjusted earnings per share.

 

  • AbbVie Inc. (ABBV) Acquires Syndesi Therapeutics; ABBV announced it has completed the acquisition of Syndesi Therapeutics SA, which will help to expand AbbVie's neuroscience portfolio. Under the terms of the agreement, AbbVie will pay Syndesi shareholders a $130 million upfront payment with the potential for Syndesi shareholders to receive additional contingent payments of up to $870 million based on the achievement of certain predetermined milestones.

  • General Dynamics Corporation (GD) Increases Dividend; The board of directors of GD declared a regular quarterly dividend of $1.26 per share on the company’s common stock, payable May 6, 2022, to shareholders of record on April 8, 2022. This is the 25th consecutive annual dividend increase authorized by the General Dynamics board, and represents a 5.9% increase over last year’s dividend.

 

March 3, 2022

 

 

 

  • Fortum Corporation (FORTUM) to apply for new operating licence for Loviisa nuclear power plant; FORTUM has decided to apply for new operating licence for both units at the Loviisa nuclear power plant until the end of 2050. Over the course of these years, the plant is expected to generate up to 170 terawatt hours of emission-free electricity. By applying for the extension, Fortum wants to support achieving Finland’s and Europe’s carbon neutrality targets and enable the building of a reliable, competitive and sustainable energy system.

 

  • Emerson Electric Co. (EMR) to Sell Therm-O-Disc Business; EMR announced an agreement to sell its Therm-O-Disc sensing and protection technologies business to an affiliate of One Rock Capital Partners, LLC (“One Rock”). The transaction is expected to close in the second calendar quarter of 2022 subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. Financial terms of the transaction is not disclosed.

 

  • Digital Realty Trust, Inc. (DLR) Raises Quarterly Cash Dividend; DLR’s board of directors approved a 5% increase in our quarterly common stock cash dividend to $1.22 per share to common stockholders of record as of the close of business on March 15, 2022.  The common stock cash dividend will be paid on March 31, 2022. This marks the 17th consecutive year that DLR have grown its dividend.

  • Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) is awarded a not-to-exceed $869.86M cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-award-fee, undefinitized modification (P00062) to a previously awarded contract (N0001919C0010).

 

March 5, 2022

 

  • Visa Inc. (V) Suspends All Russia Operations; Effective immediately, Visa will work with its clients and partners within Russia to cease all Visa transactions over the coming days. Once complete, all transactions initiated with Visa cards issued in Russia will no longer work outside the country and any Visa cards issued by financial institutions outside of Russia will no longer work within the Russian Federation.
