Distribution Increase – Brookfield Renewable Partners L.P. (BEP)

Today the 13th of January the Board of Directors of Brookfield Renewable Partners L.P. announced a quarterly distribution increase from $ 0.515 to $ 0.5425 per share that’s payable March 30, 2020 to holders of record February 28, 2020. This represents a 5.34% increase to the last quarter distribution.

“In light of our recent growth, strong balance sheet and access to capital, we are pleased to announce that our Board of Directors has declared a 5% increase to the quarterly distribution, bringing our annual payout to $2.17 per unit,” added Mr. Shah.

With current price $ 47.95 (today's close), this raise brings their distribution yield to 4.53 %.

Since I own 100 shares of BEP, this will increase my portfolio's projected annual net distribution income by $ 8.19.

This increase raises my YOC to 7.45%.
