September 28, 2026
- Lockheed Martin Corporation's (LMT) Rotary and Mission Systems unit won a $155.7M cost-plus-award-fee contract modification. The contract aims to support systems engineering and software integration for the Integrated Combat System across the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard surface forces.
- RTX Corporation (RTX) announced on Monday that it won a not-to-exceed $20.7B multi-year contract for its Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) program. The contract covers AMRAAM all-up rounds, guidance sections, and related FMS requirements. The work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, and run through June 30, 2033.
- Rockwell Collins, part of Collins Aerospace under RTX Corporation (RTX), won a $249.7M IDIQ contract to provide GPS-based range instrumentation, training systems, equipment, and technical support. The deal also covers sustainment and modernization of existing systems to address obsolescence, improve performance, and add capabilities for aircraft, weapons, and range testing.

- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT), through its Missiles and Fire Control division, was awarded a $244.96 million firm-fixed-price contract modification by the U.S. Navy. The modification adds scope to a previously awarded contract for the Full Rate Production 2 of F/A-18E/F Infrared Search and Track (IRST) Block II systems. The contract covers the procurement of 48 infrared receivers (45 for the U.S. Navy and three for the Royal Australian Air Force), 74 processors, and 27 inertial measurement units for the Navy, along with test equipment maintenance and lay-in material.
- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT), through its Rotary and Mission Systems division in Moorestown, New Jersey, was awarded a $724 million contract modification by the Japanese Ministry of Defense. The modification increases the total contract value from $1.64 billion to $2.36 billion. The contract covers the delivery of Aegis Combat Systems for Japan’s first and second Aegis System-Equipped Vessels (ASEV).
- RTX Corporation (RTX) secured a $247.09M contract to produce, upgrade, convert, and overhaul MK 15 Close-In Weapon Systems, including Phalanx and SeaRAM systems, for U.S. Navy and Army requirements. The work will be performed across multiple U.S. locations and is expected to be completed by September 2030.
- L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (LHX) Receives THAAD Propulsion Contract Valued at $6 Billion; LHX has received an undefinitized contract from Lockheed Martin, valued at more than $6 billion (excluding escalations) over seven years, to significantly expand propulsion production for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system.

- Traficom selects Tieto Corporation (TIETO) as its data and analytics services partner; The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom has selected TIETO as its partner for Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) services, related to the development and maintenance of its data and analytics environments. Through the partnership, Traficom will continue developing its business-critical reporting and analytics solutions while advancing its transition to modern cloud-based data and analytics platforms.
- RTX Corporation (RTX) said its missile and defense business won a $511.5M U.S. Navy contract modification for AN/SPY-6(V) radar hardware production and spares. The work is expected to run through November 2031 if all options are exercised.
- L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (LHX) won a $461.9M firm-fixed-price contract to provide commercial satellite communications connectivity for designated executive airlift aircraft. The contract supports authorized government personnel, with work expected to continue through October 2028.
October 1, 2026
- RTX Corporation's (RTX) Raytheon awarded $24.4 billion multi-year contract for SM-6 interceptors; Raytheon, an RTX business, has secured a five-year contract, with two additional option years, valued up to $24.4 billion for Standard Missile-6 (SM-6) interceptors, significantly increasing the availability of a critical munition able to conduct both offensive strikes and missile defense missions. Building on landmark agreements between Raytheon and the Department of War, this long-term order ensures a consistent, reliable supply of SM-6s for the U.S. Navy.
- Bank OZK (OZK) Increases Quarterly Dividend; OZK announced its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.49 per share, up $0.01, or 2.08% from the prior quarter. The common stock dividend is payable on October 20, 2026 to shareholders of record as of October 13, 2026. This marks the Bank’s 65th consecutive increase in its quarterly common stock dividend.
October 2, 2026
- The Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) Amends Normal Course Issuer Bid to Repurchase Up to 40 Million of its Common Shares; BNS announced that the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") and the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions ("OSFI") have approved its amended normal course issuer bid. The purpose of the amendment is to increase the number of Common Shares that Scotiabank may purchase for cancellation from 15 million to 40 million. This amended amount represents approximately 3.25 per cent of the 1,231,433,660 Common Shares issued and outstanding as of March 24, 2026. The effective date of the amendment is October 6, 2026.
