  • Archer-Daniels-Midland Company (ADM) places CFO on leave amid accounting probe, trims FY 2023 earnings guidance; ADM placed CFO Vikram Luthar on administrative leave pending an investigation into certain accounting practices and procedures related to the company's nutrition segment, in response to a document request by the Securities and Exchange Commission. ADM also is withdrawing guidance for the nutrition unit and now expects to deliver above $6.90/share in adjusted earnings for FY 2023, after previously forecasting full-year profits above $7/share.

  • Duke Energy Progress LLC, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Duke Energy Corporation (DUK) has been awarded an estimated $248 million fixed-price contract for 4.8 million megawatt hours of carbon pollution-free electricity to military installations.



  • General Dynamics Corporation's (GD) Mission Systems has secured a $335.07 million cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and cost-only contract for the Strategic Weapon System Fire Control Subsystem development, production, sustainment, modernization, repair, installation, training and technical engineering services support for the U.S. SSBN, UK SSBN, and SSGN fleets.

  • Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) Reports Q4 and Full-Year 2023 Results; VZ reports fourth quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $1.08, 9.2% below from last year and in-line with estimates. Revenue of $35.1 billion beats analyst estimates by $550 million but decreased 0.6% versus the same quarter last year. Total wireless postpaid phone net additions jump to 449,000 for fourth-quarter 2023 compared to 217,000 for fourth-quarter 2022. For 2024 Management guides Total wireless service revenue growth of 2.0 percent to 3.5 percent and Adjusted EPS of $4.50 to $4.70.


  • Texas Instruments Incorporated (TXN) reports Q4 2023 and 2023 financial results; TXN reports fourth quarter GAAP EPS of $1.49, 30% below last year's result but $0.02 more than expected. Revenue of $4.08 billion misses analyst estimates by $50 million and decreased 12.6% versus the same quarter last year. For Q1 Management guides revenue in the range of $3.45 billion to $3.75 billion and earnings per share between $0.96 and $1.16.


  • The Procter & Gamble Company (PG) Announces Fiscal Year 2024 Second Quarter Results; PG reports second quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $1.84, 16% above from last year and $0.14 ahead of estimates. Revenue of $21.44 billion misses analyst estimates by $60 million but increased 3.2% versus the same quarter last year. Management adjusted its fiscal 2024 diluted net earnings per share growth from a range of six to nine percent to a range of -1% to in-line versus fiscal 2023 EPS of $5.90. This outlook equates to a range of $6.37 to $6.43 per share. Management continues to expect adjusted free cash flow productivity of 90% and expects to pay more than $9 billion in dividends and to repurchase $5 to $6 billion of common shares in fiscal 2024.


  • Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) Reports Q4 and Full-Year 2023 Results; JNJ reports fourth quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $2.29, 11.7% above last year's result and $0.01 more than expected. Revenue grew 7.3% to $21.4 billion, topping estimates $380 million. Management re-confirms guidance for 2024 with operational sales growth of 5.0% - 6.0% and adjusted operational EPS of $10.55 - $10.75.


  • Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (BMY) Completes Acquisition of Mirati Therapeutics; BMY announced that it has successfully completed its acquisition of Mirati Therapeutics, Inc.. With the completion of the acquisition, Mirati shares have ceased trading on the NASDAQ Global Select Market and Mirati is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Bristol Myers Squibb. The transaction is expected to be treated as a business combination and to be dilutive to BMY’s non-GAAP earnings per share by approximately $0.35 per share in 2024.



  • RTX Corporation (RTX) Reports 2023 Results and Announces 2024 Outlook; RTX reports reports fourth quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $1.29, beating analyst estimates by $0.04and increased 2% year-over-year. Revenue of $19.9 billion beats analyst estimates by $230 million and increased 10.0% versus the same quarter last year. Company backlog of $196 billion; including $118 billion of commercial and $78 billion of defense. For full year 2024 Management guides Sales of $78.0 - $79.0 billion, Adjusted EPS of $5.25 - $5.40 and Free cash flow of approximately $5.7 billion.


  • Canadian National Railway Company (TSE:CNR) Announces Fourth Quarter and Year-End Results; CNR reports Non-GAAP EPS of C$2.02 , beating analyst estimates by C$0.04 but decreasing 4% year-over-year. Revenue of C$4.47 billion beats analyst estimates by C$90 million but decreased 1.5% versus the same quarter last year. Management reiterates its longer-term financial perspective and continues to target compounded annual diluted EPS growth in the range of 10%-15% over the 2024-2026 period.


  • Canadian National Railway Company (TSE:CNR) Increases Quarterly Dividend; CNR announced that its Board of Directors has approved a 7% increase in the 2024 dividend on the Company's common shares. A quarterly dividend of eighty-four and a half cents (C$0.8450) per common share will be paid on March 28, 2024, to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 7, 2024.

  • AT&T Inc. (T) Reports Fourth Quarter And Full Year 2023 Financial Results; T reports fourth quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $0.54, 11.5% below last year's result but $0.02 more than expected. Revenue grew 2.2% to $32.02 billion, topping estimates by $560 million. For the full year 2024 Management guides Wireless service revenue growth in the 3% range, Broadband revenue growth of 7%+, Free cash flow in the $17-$18 billion range and Adjusted EPS of $2.15 to $2.25.



  • Ørsted agreed to acquire Eversource Energy's (ES) 50% stake in Sunrise Wind project off New York


  • Kimberly-Clark Corporation (KMB) Announces Full-Year 2023 Results And 2024 Outlook; KMB reports Non-GAAP EPS of $1.51, missing analyst estimates by $0.03 and decreasing 2% year-over-year. Revenue of $4.97 billion misses analyst estimates by $20 million but increased 0.2% versus the same quarter last year. Management currently expects to deliver a low-to-mid single digit percentage increase in 2024 Organic Net Sales versus the prior year period and Adjusted Earnings Per share are expected to grow at a high single-digit rate on a constant-currency basis versus the prior year period.


  • Kimberly-Clark Corporation (KMB) Declares Dividend Increase; The board of directors of KMB has declared an increased quarterly dividend of $1.22 per share, a level 3.4 percent higher than its previous regular quarterly payout. The dividend is payable on April 2, 2024, to stockholders of record as of March 8, 2024.

  • NextEra Energy, Inc. (NEE) reports fourth-quarter and full-year 2023 financial results; NEE reports Non-GAAP EPS of $0.52, beating analyst estimates by $0.03 and increased 2.0% year-over-year. Revenue grew 11.5% to $6.87 billion, topping estimates by $550 million. For 2024, Management continues to expect adjusted earnings per share to be in the range of $3.23 to $3.43 and continues to expect to grow its dividends per share at a roughly 10% rate per year through at least 2024, off a 2022 base.




  • Visa Inc. (V) Reports Fiscal First Quarter 2024 Results; V reports Non-GAAP EPS of $2.41, beating analyst estimates by $0.07 by increasing 11% year-over-year. Revenue of $8.6 billion beats analyst estimates by $50 million and increased 8.9% versus the same quarter last year.


  • Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (APD) Increases Quarterly Dividend; APD increased the quarterly dividend on the Company’s common stock to $1.77 per share, 1.1% increase from prior dividend of $1.75. This marks the 42nd consecutive year the Company has increased its dividend payment. The dividend is payable on May 13, 2024 to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 1, 2024.


  • Archer-Daniels-Midland Company (ADM) Increases Quarterly Dividend; ADM's Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of 50.0 cents per share on the company's common stock, an approximately 11% increase from last quarter's dividend of 45.0 cents per share. The dividend is payable on Feb. 29, 2024, to shareholders of record on Feb. 8, 2024.

  • Telia Company (TELIA) Year-end report January – December 2023; TELIA reports fourt quarter EPS of SEK -0.73, compared last year's result of SEK -4.78. Revenue of SEK 23,098 million was in line with analyst estimates and increased 0.9% versus the same quarter last year. TELIA's Board of Directors proposes to the Annual General Meeting a dividend of SEK 2.00 per share to be distributed to shareholders. Last year the company paid a dividend of SEK 2.00 per share, which was the analyst consensus expectation.
