June 26, 2023

  • NCC AB (NCC) to divest Bergnäset to REMONDIS; NCC is divesting the scaffolding company Bergnäset Ställningsmontage to REMONDIS Maintenance & Services Sweden AB. The transaction is expected to have a positive impact on earnings in business area Infrastructure of around SEK 175 M at closing, which is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2023.

  • General Dynamics Corporation (GD) said it was awarded a $257.6M modification to contract W56HZV-19-C-0036 for M10 Booker low-rate initial production.

June 27, 2023

  • Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) has been awarded a $188.48 million cost-plus-incentive-fee contract modification to previously awarded contract N00024-20-C-6117 to exercise options for Navy engineering design, development, supporting material, travel, and subsistence.

June 28, 2023

  • Orion Corporation (ORNBV) invests EUR 30 million to increase production capacity in Finland; ORNBV will invest a total of approximately EUR 30 million in the coming years to increase its production capacity in Finland. The investments will focus on inhaler production at Orion's pharmaceutical plant in Espoo, production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) at Fermion's plant in Hanko and a pharmaceutical packaging in Salo production site. The investments will start in 2023 and will be completed by 2026.

  • UPM-Kymmene Corpopration (UPM) Employee consultation processes at Schongau completed; UPM decided to close 485,000 tonnes of graphic paper capacity in Europe. The company permanently closes paper machine 6 at UPM Schongau, Germany and paper machine 4 at UPM Steyrermühl, Austria. The decision is based on the plans announced in June 2022 and in March 2023. The employee consultation process in Schongau was conducted in line with local legislations and has now been finalized. The number of persons affected is 136 for the site. The uncoated publication paper machine 6 will be permanently closed today.

  • NCC AB (NCC) to refurbish Nummi School in Turku; NCC has been commissioned by the City of Turku to refurbish Nummi School in Turku. The school encompasses a total of 7,000 square meters and the contract is valued at approximately SEK 180 million.

  • General Mills, Inc. (GIS) Reports Fiscal 2023 Fourth-Quarter And Full-Year Results; GIS reports Q4 Non-GAAP EPS of $1.12, beating analyst estimates by $0.05 and increased 1% year-over-year. Revenue of $5.03 billion misses analyst estimates by $150 million but increased 2.9% versus the same quarter last year. For fiscal 2024 Management guides Organic net sales to increase 3 to 4 percent and Adjusted diluted EPS is expected to increase 4 to 6 percent in constant currency from the base of $4.30 earned in fiscal 2023.

  • General Mills, Inc. (GIS) Announces Dividend Increase; The GIS board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.59 per share, payable August 1, 2023, to shareholders of record July 10, 2023. This represents a 9 percent increase from the previous quarterly rate of $0.54 per share.

  • Visa Inc. (V) to Acquire Pismo; V announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Pismo, a cloud-native issuer processing and core banking platform with operations in Latin America, Asia Pacific and Europe, for $1 billion in cash.

  • Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) Announces New Portfolio Investment; MAIN announce that it recently completed a new portfolio investment in an industry leading manufacturer and distributor of insignia and tactical products and accessories. MAIN and its co-investor teamed up with the Providence, Rhode Island-headquartered company's management team to facilitate a management-led buyout of the company, with MAIN funding $52.8M in a combination of first lien, senior secured term debt and a direct equity investment.

June 30, 2023

  • Dominion Energy, Inc. (D) Updates Second-Quarter 2023 Operating Earnings Guidance; D has updated its second-quarter operating earnings guidance range to $0.44 to $0.50 per share. The revised guidance reflects the estimated impact of historically mild weather, unplanned outages at the Millstone Power Station, and positive factors such as lower costs. The original second-quarter guidance range was $0.58 to $0.68 per share.
