July 12, 2022

 

  • NCC AB (NCC) to build pumping station to keep Kristianstad drained; NCC has been commissioned by Kristianstad Municipality to construct a new pumping station for storm and soil water from the central, low-lying parts of the municipality. The pumping station will play an important role in removing water and protecting the city from flooding. The assignment is a design-build contract and the order value is approximately SEK 240 million.

 

  • PepsiCo, Inc. (PEP) Reports Second-Quarter 2022 Results; PEP reports Non-GAAP EPS of $1.86, beating estimates by $0.12 and 10% growth year-over-year. Revenues grew by 5.3% to $20.23 billion beating analyst estimates by $720 million. For FY2022, PEP expects a 10% increase in organic revenue and core earnings per share of $6.63, a 6 percent increase compared to 2021.

 

 

July 13, 2022

 

  • Orion Corporation (ORION) upgrades full-year outlook for 2022; Due to the collaboration agreement regarding ODM-208, announced at the same time with this release in a separate stock exchange release, and related significant upfront payment, Orion estimates net sales in 2022 to be clearly higher than in 2021. Operating profit is estimated to be clearly higher than in 2021. The upfront payment is USD 290 million of which approximately EUR 220 million is recognised in Orion’s 2022 net sales and operating profit.

 

 

  • Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (WBA) Increases Quarterly Dividend; WBA announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of 48 cents per share, an increase of 0.5 percent. The increased dividend is payable Sept. 9, 2022, to stockholders of record as of Aug. 19, 2022, and raises the annual rate from $1.91 per share to $1.92 per share.

 

  • Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTX) awarded a ~$353.93M cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to procure additional lower tier air and missile defense sensor radar prototypes, under the U.S. Department of Defense contract.

 

 

  • Lazard Ltd (LAZ) Reports June 2022 Assets Under Management; LAZ reported its preliminary assets under management (“AUM”) as of June 30, 2022 totaled approximately $216.6 billion, down from $235.95B as of May 31, 2022. June AUM included market depreciation of $13.1B, foreign exchange appreciation of $3.7B and net outflows of $2.5B.

  • ConocoPhillips (COP) and Sempra Infrastructure Sign Heads of Agreement for Large-Scale LNG Projects and Carbon Capture Activities; COP announced a potentially significant expansion of its global liquefied natural gas (LNG) business through investment in a new large-scale LNG facility under development by Sempra Infrastructure, a subsidiary of Sempra (NYSE: SRE) (BMV: SRE), in Jefferson County, Texas. ConocoPhillips has entered into a Heads of Agreement (HOA) with Sempra to acquire a 30% direct equity holding in Port Arthur Liquefaction Holdings, LLC and an LNG offtake equivalent to approximately 5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) from the Port Arthur LNG project.

 

  • General Dynamics Corporation (GD) is awarded a $272.98M cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and cost-no-fee contract (N0003022C1003) for the technical engineering services necessary for Strategic Weapons Systems Fire Control Subsystem production to support the Common Missile Compartment production requirement. GD’s Information Technology has been awarded a $908M ceiling, single award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa information technology and enterprise network services.

 

July 15, 2022

 

  • Orion Corporation (ORION) Reports Second Quarter Results; ORION reports second quarter EPS of € 0.47. In the comparison period, earnings per share amounted to € 0.40. Net sales developed to € 283.7 million in the quarter from € 254.9 million in the comparison period. Analysts forecast an average turnover of € 261.7 million.
