- Neste Corporation (NESTE) acquires European rights to Alterra Energy’s thermochemical liquefaction technology; NESTE has purchased the European rights to Alterra Energy’s liquefaction technology, further solidifying the company’s efforts to advance chemical recycling. Alterra Energy is a US-based company that has developed a proprietary thermochemical solution for liquefaction of hard-to-recycle plastic.
- Neste Corporation (NESTE) invests in its world scale renewable products refinery in Rotterdam; NESTE has made the final investment decision to invest into new renewable products production capacity in Rotterdam. The Rotterdam refinery expansion investment of approximately EUR 1.9 billion will expand NESTE’s overall renewable product capacity by 1.3 million tons per annum, bringing the total renewable product capacity in Rotterdam to 2.7 million tons annually, of which sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production capability will be 1.2 million tons.
- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) unit bags $2.28B US Army contract; The United States government and Sikorsky, a LMT company, signed a five-year contract for a baseline of 120 H-60M Black Hawk helicopters, with options to reach a total of 255 aircraft to be delivered to the U.S. Army and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. Sikorsky continues to modernize and enhance the Black Hawk to meet the Army's challenging and evolving missions by continuously delivering aircraft thanks to a hot production line, mature well-established supply chain and digital factory.

- Bonava AB (BONAVA) acquires 230 building rights in Gothenburg; BONAVA has signed an agreement with Grandab Fastigheter Södra Centrum Holding AB, owned by Revcap och Grandab Invest, to acquire approximately 230 building rights in Gothenburg, Sweden. The transaction amounts to SEK 312 million. Work on the zoning plan is expected to begin in autumn 2022 and the production of the first housing units during 2025.
- Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (APD) and Gunvor to Cooperate on Green Hydrogen Import Terminal in Rotterdam; APD and Gunvor Petroleum Rotterdam (GPR), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gunvor Group (Gunvor), have signed a joint development agreement for an import terminal in Rotterdam. The agreement responds to the accelerating demand for green energy sources to meet climate objectives and the need to diversify energy sources. The import terminal is expected to provide green hydrogen to the Netherlands in 2026.

- Fortum Corporation’s (FORTUM) subsidiary Uniper’s first half 2022 results below last year, withdraws full-year result guidance for 2022; FORTUM’s subsidiary Uniper has today published a stock exchange release (‘ad-hoc’) according to which the company’s first half 2022 results will be significantly below the prior year’s comparable numbers. In addition, Uniper has also removed its full year results guidance.
- NCC AB (NCC) sells Kontorværket office project in Denmark; NCC is selling Kontorværket 1 office project in Valby, Copenhagen to Industriens Pension. The building will become biotech company Genmab’s new headquarters and will meet high environmental standards for both the building and the area.
- Bonava AB (BONAVA) sells 123 rental apartments in Finland; BONAVA is selling 123 rental apartments in Espoo, Finland to the investor ICECAPITAL Housing Fund VI Ky. The first housing units are expected to be completed and handed over to the customer in the third quarter of 2024.
- General Mills, Inc. (GIS) Reports Fourth-Quarter and Full-Year Results for Fiscal 2022, Declares Six Percent Dividend Increase; GIS reports Non-GAAP EPS of $1.12, beating estimates by $0.11 and 23% growth year-over-year. Revenues grew by 8.2% to $4.89 billion beating analyst estimates by $80 million. GIS declared a quarterly dividend of $0.54 per share, payable August 1, 2022, to shareholders of record July 8, 2022. This represents a 6 percent increase from the previous quarterly rate of $0.51 per share.
- Pfizer Inc. (PFE) is awarded a $3.2B firm-fixed-price contract to manufacture, store and deliver mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.
- Lockheed Martin Corporations (LMT) unit Sikorsky Aircraft is awarded a $429.17M firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance and overhaul of UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.
- General Dynamics Corporations (GD) Land Systems Wins U.S. Army Competition for Mobile Protected Firepower Vehicles; General Dynamics Land Systems, a business unit of GD announced today that its Mobile Protected Firepower (MPF) offering has been chosen by the U.S. Army through a competitive process to provide enhanced firepower for Infantry Brigade Combat Teams (IBCTs). The Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) award is valued at $1.14 billion.
- General Dynamics Corporations (GD) NASSCO Awarded $600 Million to Support Construction of Three U.S. Navy Ships; General Dynamics NASSCO, a subsidiary of GD, announced today that it was awarded $600 million in U.S. Navy contract modifications for long-lead-time material to support construction of the seventh and eighth ships in the John Lewis-class fleet oiler (T-AO) program, as well as the sixth ship in the Expeditionary Sea Base (ESB) program.

- Bonava AB (BONAVA) acquires approximately 150 building rights in Haninge; BONAVA has signed an agreement for the acquisition of four properties totalling 90,000 square metres in Haninge, where Bonava intends to construct approximately 150 Nordic Swan ecolabelled housing units. The seller is a private property developer, and the transaction totals SEK 153 million in underlying property value. Handover of the properties will take place in the third quarter of 2022 and production of the first housing units is expected to begin after a zoning plan is established, at the earliest in 2026.
- Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (WBA) Reports Fiscal 2022 Third Quarter Results; WBA reports third quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $0.96, down 30.4% year-over-year but a $0.03 beat of estimates. Revenue decreased 4.2% to $32.6 billion, but was $370 million higher than expected. WBA is maintaining FY adjusted EPS guidance of low-single digit growth.
- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) was awarded a $307.1M firm-fixed-price contract for repair and recertification of Phased Array Tracking Radar to Intercept on Target Advanced Capability-3 missiles.

- Unilever plc (UNA) announces completion of the sale of its Tea business; UNA today announced that it has completed the sale of its Tea business, ekaterra, to the CVC Capital Partners Fund VIII. Unilever and CVC had entered into an agreement for the sale of ekaterra in November 2021, for €4.5 billion on a cash-free, debt-free basis; expecting to close in H2 2022.
- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) is awarded a ~$192.39M cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to previously awarded contract N00024-21-C-5127 for technical engineering and management efforts for the Australia Surface Combatant program.
- Emerson Electric Co. (EMR) Acquires Life Sciences Company Fluxa; EMR announced it has acquired Fluxa, a leader in the life sciences industry that uses software and modern technology architectures to accelerate the speed to market for new therapies, drugs and vaccines. The acquisition builds on Emerson’s leading software and solutions portfolio and life sciences expertise. Emerson made an equity investment in Fluxa, which is based in Glendale, California, in 2021.
