  • W. P. Carey Inc. (WPC) Announces Recent Investments; WPC announced that since the end of the first quarter it has entered into investments totaling approximately $400 million. This includes investments totaling approximately $168 million under binding agreements and expected to close in 2022, with the significant majority expected to close by the end of July, subject to certain customary closing conditions.

  • General Dynamics Corporation (GD) was awarded a $133.17M firm-fixed-price contract for MK80 series general purpose tritonal bomb components from the U.S. army.

 

 

June 9, 2022

 

  • Sampo plc (SAMPO) returns excess capital following Nordea exit; SAMPO’s Board of Directors has resolved to launch a EUR 1 billion share buyback program. In addition, management intends to propose to the Board of Directors a second distribution of capital in the form of a share buyback program or extra dividend, or a combination thereof, in connection with the publication of the 2022 financial result on 9 February 2023.

 

  • Target Corporation (TGT) Increases Quarterly Dividend by 20 Percent; Board of directors of TGT has declared a quarterly dividend of $1.08 per common share, a 20% increase from the prior quarterly dividend of 90 cents. The dividend is payable Sept. 10, 2022 to shareholders of record at the close of business August 17, 2022. This is the 51st consecutive year in which Target has increased its annual dividend.

 

  • Pfizer Inc. (PFE) Completes Acquisition of ReViral; PFE announced the successful completion of its acquisition of ReViral, a privately held, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing, and commercializing novel antiviral therapeutics that target respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).

 

 

June 10, 2022

 

  • Fortum Corporation (FORTUM) to sell remaining ownership in charging point operator Recharge AS; FORTUM is selling its 30% ownership in Recharge AS (Recharge), a public charging point operator (CPO) for electric vehicles, to Infracapital, the infrastructure equity investment arm of M&G Plc. Upon completion, Infracapital will own 100% of Recharge, which is the largest charging network in the Nordic region with more than 4,600 connectors at 830 locations. The transaction price is approximately EUR 80 million.

 

 

  • Lazard Ltd (LAZ) Reports May 2022 Assets Under Management; LAZ reported assets under management (“AUM”) as of May 31, 2022 totaled approximately $236.0 billion. The month’s AUM included foreign exchange appreciation of $1.4 billion, market depreciation of $1.1 billion, and net outflows of $1.0 billion.
