Dividend Income - May 2022

The month has passed again, it is already midsummer time and we are slowly starting to go towards autumn, it is time to report my dividend income. In May 2022 my portfolio dividend income was as follows:

My Total dividends in May are € 2,603.84 ($ 2,759.92). After taxes, my net dividend income is € 1,925.70 ($ 2,040.97). In year 2021, my net dividend income in May was € 2,077.28 ($ 2,527.74). My portfolio's net dividend income decreased by € 151.58 or 7.3% to compared the same month of previous year. Compared to the previous year, there have been some changes to the dividend income of May: the most significant is the payment of the FORTUM dividend this year in April instead of May as last year, four new dividend payers have joined to the portfolio, namely VZ, TXN, MED and POW.TO besides SKT and IPL.TO has left it. Additional purchases such as BMY, UNM and APD, some nice dividend increases like ABBV and RY.TO, as well a dividend cut from T. Recent exchange rate developments have also had a positive impact on the portfolio's dividend income in euro.

This net passive income of €1,925.70 means that I received a nice €62.12 every day or €2.59 per every hour during May, no matter what I did. For the first five months of the year, the corresponding amounts are €70.23 per day and €2.93 per hour.

This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 122,424.55.
