  • Flowers Foods, Inc. (FLO) Acquires Assets Of Koffee Kup Bakery; FLO announced that it has acquired the assets of Koffee Kup Bakery, Inc. (KKB) in Burlington, Vermont from the court-appointed receiver of the assets. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition includes three closed bakeries located in Burlington and Brattleboro, Vermont and North Grosvenor Dale, Connecticut, and the Koffee Kup Bakery and Vermont Bread Company brands.

 

  • Nutrien Ltd Increasing Potash Production in Response to Strong Global Demand; NTR announced that it expects to increase potash production by approximately half a million tonnes in the second half of 2021 compared to earlier expectations, in response to tightening global potash market conditions. Nutrien has a flexible network of six world-class potash mines with competitively positioned, available capacity that it can utilize to help supply global demand.

 

  • LTC Properties, Inc. (LTC) Sells Three Assisted Living Communities in Wisconsin; LTC announced the sale of three assisted living communities in Wisconsin that were part of LTC’s Senior Lifestyle portfolio for $35.0 million. The estimated gain from the sale of the properties, which include 263 assisted living units, is approximately $5.6 million. These properties had a combined gross book value of $35.2 million and a net book value of $28.3 million. The net proceeds from the sale of approximately $34.0 million were used to paydown LTC’s unsecured revolving line of credit.

  • NCC AB (NCC) to modernize treatment plant in Uppsala; NCC has been commissioned by Uppsala Vatten to upgrade and modernize the Kungsängsverket treatment plant. The measure is necessary to meet Uppsala’s population growth and the more stringent requirements for efficient and robust sewage treatment. The order value is approximately SEK 270 million.
