  • Baxter International Inc. (BAX) Increases Quarterly Dividend; BAX announced an increase in the company's quarterly cash dividend to a rate of $0.28 per share of common stock. This represents an approximately 14% increase over the previous quarterly dividend rate of $0.245 per share. The dividend is payable on July 1, 2021, to stockholders of record as of June 4, 2021.

  • Brookfield Renewable (BEP, BIPC) Announces First Quarter Results; BEP reports EPS of -0.24, $0.21 lower than expected. Revenue declined 2.9% to $1.02 billion, $92.07 million higher than expected. BEP Generated FFO of $242 million, or $0.38 per unit, a 21% increase on a normalized per unit basis over the same period in the prior year.

 

  • ConocoPhillips (COP) Reports First-Quarter 2021 Results; COP reports Non-GAAP EPS of $0.69, 53.3% above last year's result and $0.16 higher than expected. Revenue improved 59.6% to $9.83 billion, $1.53 billion higher than expected. COP Announced plans to sell its Cenovus Energy shares in the open market in a disciplined manner by year-end 2022 beginning in the second quarter of 2021.

 

  • Pfizer Inc. (PFE) Reports First Quarter 2021 Results; PFE reports first quarter adjusted EPS of $0.86, 44% higher than the previous year and $0.17 better than expected. Revenue increased 44.8% to $14.6 billion, topping estimates by $980 million. PFE Maintains Quarterly Dividend for Second-Quarter 2021 at $0.39/Share; Dividend Will Not Be Reduced as a Result of the Initiation of a Quarterly Dividend by Viatris Inc.

 

 

 

  • Prudential Financial, Inc. (PRU) Announces First Quarter 2021 Results; PRU reports GAAP EPS of $6.98, $4.45 above estimates. The Company’s Board of Directors has authorized the repurchase of an additional $0.5 billion of its outstanding Common Stock, increasing the authorization to up to $2.0 billion from January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021.

  • UGI Corporation (UGI) Record Second Quarter Results; UGI reports second quarter adjusted EPS of $2.33, an 117.76% increase year-over-year and $0.57 ahead of estimates. Revenue grew 15.7% to $2.58 billion, topping estimates by $110 million. UGI's Board of Directors also approved an increase to its quarterly dividend to $0.345 per share marking the 34th consecutive year of annual dividend increases.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Fortis Inc. (FTS) Reports First Quarter 2021 Results; FTS reports adjusted net earnings of $0.77, 13.2% higher than the prior year and $0.12 above estimates. "The outlook for Fortis remains positive and we affirm our 6% dividend growth guidance," said Mr. Hutchens.

  • Cardinal Health, Inc. (CAH) reports third-quarter results for fiscal year 2021; CAH reports third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.40, a 66.4% decrease from last year and $0.78 lower than expected. Revenue improved 0.3% to $39.28 billion, though this missed estimates by $910 million. The company also increased its quarterly dividend 1% to $0.4908, or $1.96 on an annualized basis. The dividend will be payable on July 15, 2021 to shareholders of record at the close of business on July 1, 2021.
