- Telia Company reaches agreement to sell its carrier operation to Polhem Infra and proposes to reinstate the original dividend for 2019. Telia have reached an agreement with Polhem Infra for the sale of its international carrier business, Telia Carrier, for a value of SEK 9,450 million on a cash and debt free basis. The Board of Directors has also decided to propose an additional dividend of 0.65 SEK/share, bringing the total dividend for 2019 back to 2.45 SEK/share which was originally proposed in January this year.
- UPM-Kymmene Corporation seeks efficiency improvement in UPM Raflatac and in global functions. As a result of the weakening world economic outlook as well as the COVID-19 related restrictive measures and their consequences, UPM keeps taking action to decrease fixed and variable costs in its businesses and functions. UPM Raflatac plans to simplify its organisation and increase efficiency in operations and distribution. If implemented, the plans would reduce approximately 100 positions in UPM Raflatac’s global organisation, mainly in Europe. In addition, UPM aims to increase efficiency of its global functions in five countries. If implemented, the plans would decrease the number of positions in the functions by up to 70, mostly in Finland and in Germany.
- TD Bank Group (TD) confirms ownership stake in The Charles Schwab Corporation following completion of transaction. TD today confirmed that upon closing of the acquisition of TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation by The Charles Schwab Corporation ("Schwab"), TD received an approximately 13.5% stake in Schwab, consisting of 9.9% voting common shares and the remainder in non-voting common shares which are convertible into voting common shares upon transfer to a third party.

- McDonald's Corporation (MCD) Increases Quarterly Cash Dividend; MCD increases its quarterly per share dividend 3.2% to $1.29 from $1.25 payable on December 15, 2020 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 1, 2020. The company has raised its dividend for more than 40 consecutive years since first paying a dividend in 1976.

- ConocoPhillips (COP) Announces Increase in Quarterly Dividend; COP increases its quarterly per share dividend 2.4% from 42 cents per share to 43 cents per share payable on December 1, 2020 to shareholders of record at the close of business on October 19, 2020.
