Yesterday, January 30, the Board of Directors of ADM announced a quarterly dividend increase from $ 0.35 to $ 0.36 per share that’s payable March 5, 2020 to holders of record February 13, 2020. This represents a 2.860% increase to the last quarterly dividend.
This is ADM’s 353rd consecutive quarterly payment, a
record of 88 years of uninterrupted dividends. As of Dec. 31, 2019, there were
557,307,980 shares of ADM common stock outstanding.
With current price $ 45.80 (yesterday's close), this
raise brings their dividend yield to 3.06 %.
Since I own 85 shares of ADM, this will increase my
portfolio's projected annual net dividend income by $ 2.53.
This increase raises my YOC to 4.60%.

ReplyDeleteI was hoping for a bit larger increase, but I'll still take it! Hopefully we can get a return to 4-6% annual increases starting next year. ADM was my 4th pay raise of the year!
