Week in Review 45/17

Welcome and thanks for reading!
In this review, I will make a summary of important and interesting news and events over the last week related to my portfolio holdings. Also, I will put together some interesting articles from other websites that caught my attention during the past week.

Received Dividends:

November 9, 2017

  • € 114.33 - NCC AB

November 10, 2017

  • € 43.51 - Global X SuperDividend ETF

Dividend income is reported after the deduction of taxes. Check more at my Monthly Dividend sheet.

My Portfolio's Transactions:

November 10, 2017

  • Purchase 150 shares of Enbridge Inc. (ENB.TO) at CA$ 46.12 per share plus commission.

This acquisition, 150 shares of ENB, is part of my future plan. I'm going to transfer some of my holdings to the other securities account, which I have just opened. By the end of the year, I will sell all my existing ENB shares (135), so in the long run, my stock amount will grow by fifteen shares. I'm trying to make a more detailed report later, when I have completed the transfer.

Portfolio Holdings News:

November 7, 2017

  2. Nice summary article DH. Are the Canadian & US dividends taxed at 15%?

    1. Hi dividendgeek, yeah, my stock broker takes 15% withholding tax from me for Canadian and US dividends. In addition, I pay 10.5% of capital income tax to Finland, so I pay a total of 25.5% tax on dividend income. ETF's distribution will be taxed at 30%

      Thanks for visiting,

  3. Hi,

Emerson hiked dividend but only with 1% so it's probably not worth mentioning :)

    1. Hi, yes you are right. I noticed this "great" increase. It was as big a year earlier. :)

      Cheers,
