Dividend Income - September 2016

Again, one month passed and it is time to report my dividend income. In June 2016 my portfolio dividend income was as follows:

Quarterly dividends received from:

Intel Corporation (INTC) - €92.79 ($104.00)
Pfizer Inc. (PFE) - €53.57 ($60.00)
ConocoPhillips (COP) - €6.70 ($7.50)
Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) - €42.64 ($48.00)
Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) - €16.01 ($18.00)
Unilever N.V. (AMS:UNA) - €16.00 ($17.99)
Emerson Electric Co. (EMR) - €16.91 ($19.00)
Magna International Inc. (MGA) - €11.13 ($12.50)
Chevron Corporation (CVX) - €57.23 ($64.20)
Target Corporation (TGT) - €53.48 ($60.00)
Flowers Foods Inc. (FLO) - €17.93 ($20.00)
McDonald's Corporation (MCD) - €15.95 ($17.80)
Triton International Limited Co (TRTN) - €40.06 ($45.00)
Gilead Sciences Inc. (GILD) - €8.38 ($9.40)
T. Rowe Price Group Inc. (TROW) - €26.46 ($29.70)
Digital Realty Trust Inc. (DLR) - €93.87 ($105.60)

Monthly dividends received from:

Global X SuperDividend ETF (SDIV) - €63.86 ($72.30)
Inter Pipeline Ltd. (IPL.TO) - €17.64 ($19.77)

My Total dividends in September are € 650.61 ($730.76). After tax payments, net dividend income is € 481.83 ($541.16). In year 2015, my net dividend income in September was € 842.24. My portfolio's net dividend income decreased by 43% compared to last year in September. The main reason for such a large decline in dividend income is the end of the dividend payment of Avance Gas. Avance's dividend reduction was expected, but I wasn't thinking it will completely run out.

This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 35,556.93

My net dividend income YTD is € 8,126.73, so I have now collected 72.9% of my target net dividend income for this year, which is €11,150.00. As I mentioned in my June dividend income report, it seems that I am not going to achieve my objective this year. Now that three-quarters have passed, I can say that I did not achieve my objective this year. With a good fourth quarter, I have the opportunity to reach € 10k in 2016.

You can follow the development of my dividends here.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Dividend cuts happen. It's part of the game we play being dividend growth investors. Still, you brought in a very solid total for passive income earned. What's not to like about that? Thank you for sharing. I still think you have a shot of making your annual dividend goal. Perhaps some strong buys this month to juice returns?

  2. Hei, miten Global X SuperDividend ETF (SDIV) verotus menee? Muistaakseni se poikkeaa tavallisesta Yhdysvaltalaisen yhtiön maksamasta osingosta.
