The first quarter of the year has come to a close, and it's time to share my dividend income update. In March 2025, my portfolio generated the following dividend income:
In March 2025, my total dividend income amounted to €3,672.75 ($3,954.61). After taxes, my net dividend income came to €2,728.84 ($2,938.19). Comparing this to March 2024, when my net dividend income was €2,245.81 ($2,432.23), my portfolio’s net dividend income increased by €483.03, representing a 21.5% year-over-year growth. The growth was mainly due to the fact that Nordea paid its dividend in March instead of April as in 2024.
In March 2025, my net dividend income totaled €2,728.84, which breaks down to an average of €88.03 per day and €3.67 per hour—earned passively, regardless of what I was doing. By the end of the first quarter, the cumulative averages stand at €69.20 per day and €2.88 per hour.
Compared to March 2024, my dividend
income and portfolio have undergone several notable changes.
I
added two new dividend-paying ETFs—JEPI and JEPQ—as well as one
new company, HSY. AVANCE completed its liquidation process and
distributed shares of BW LPG in the process.
I also increased my
holdings in WTRG, ES, BEPC, LYB, CNR.TO, and JGPI, further
strengthening my overall income stream.
Several of my current
investments reported dividend increases—most notably NEE, V, and
AFL—all of which had a positive impact on my overall income
On
the other hand, two companies—INTC and CCI—have exited my
portfolio.
This month’s dividend payments have brought my cumulative net dividend income to a total of €187,344.41.
Dividend Income 2025
With this month’s dividend income, I’ve now collected 25% of my target net passive income for 2025, which is €25,000.00. At the moment, it seems that I won't reach my target. The main factors contributing to this are the exchange rate fluctuations and the Neste dividend cut. These have had a significant impact on my overall income, making it more challenging to meet my goal.

Full Disclosure: Long on above mentioned stocks, except INTC and CCI.
