- United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) Announces Sale of Coyote Logistics to RXO, Inc.; UPS announced it has entered into an agreement to sell its Coyote Logistics business unit to RXO, Inc., for $1.025 billion. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year, subject to regulatory review and approval. Upon completion of the transaction, the company will update its financial outlook.
June 25, 2024
- L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (LHX) Secures $998.83M U.S. Navy Contract; LHX has received a new U.S. Army contract worth up to $871 million to deliver fuzes that will support U.S., ally and partner missions.
June 26, 2024
- General Mills, Inc. (GIS) Reports Fiscal 2024 Fourth-quarter and Full-year Results; GIS reports Q4 Non-GAAP EPS of $1.01, 10% below last year's result but $0.02 more than expected. Revenue of $4.71 billion misses analyst estimates by $150 million and decreased 6.4% versus the same quarter last year. For FY25 Management guides adjusted operating profit is expected to range between down 2 percent and flat in constant currency from the base of $3.6 billion reported in fiscal 2024 and adjusted diluted EPS is expected to range between down 1 percent and up 1 percent in constant currency from the base of $4.52 earned in fiscal 2024.
- General Mills, Inc. (GIS) Increases Dividend; GIS board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.60 per share, payable August 1, 2024, to shareholders of record July 10, 2024. This represents a 2 percent increase from the previous quarterly rate of $0.59 per share.
June 27, 2024
- NCC AB (NCC) to begin construction of the Mariestad correctional facility; On behalf of Specialfastigheter, NCC is constructing the Mariestad correctional facility on land adjacent to the Rödjan facility in Mariestad. The project is now entering the production stage and NCC’s assignment is expected to encompass about SEK 250 million more than the initially announced amount of SEK 900 million.
- AbbVie Inc. (ABBV) Acquires Celsius Therapeutics; ABBV announced today the acquisition of Celsius Therapeutics, Inc. a privately held biotechnology company pioneering new therapies for patients with inflammatory disease.
- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) has secured a $1.56 billion cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee, fixed-price-incentive-fee, and firm-fixed-price contract.
- General Dynamics Land System Inc., a unit of General Dynamics Corporation (GD) has secured a $322.73 million modification to contract W56HZV-19-C-0036 for low-rate initial production of the M10 Booker.
June 28, 2024
- The U.S. Army awarded Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) a multi-year contract worth $4.5B for its Patriot Missile air defense system, the Pentagon said Friday.
- Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) Announces Amendment of its Corporate Credit Facility; The amendment provides an increase in total commitments to $1.110 billion and an increase to the diversified group of lenders to 19, while maintaining an expanded accordion feature that allows for an increase up to $1.665 billion of total commitments from new and existing lenders.
- Emera Inc. (TSE:EMA) Announces Strategic Reallocation of Capital to Drive Long-Term Growth; Updates Growth Guidance; EMA is introducing new three-year average target EPS growth of 5-7 per cent through 2027(1) and extending its previously discussed rate-base growth guidance of 7-8 per cent over the next five years through 2029. As part of a broader strategic initiative to reallocate capital towards investing in these high-growth opportunities, beginning today, EMA is adjusting its dividend growth rate to 1 to 2 per cent per year.
