  • NCC AB (NCC) to construct an additional 191 apartments in Espoo; NCC is continuing its partnership with NREP in the Niittykumpu district of Espoo, in the Finnish capital region. The parties have signed a contract for an additional 191 apartments, which will be the third phase in the area. The order value is approximately SEK 260 million.

 

  • Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) awarded a $503.72M firm-fixed-price order (N0001922F2291) against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N0001921G0017).

 

  • Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTX) has been awarded a $176.98M firm-fixed-price, ID/IQ contract for High Frequency Global Communications System (or HFGCS) – Scope Command Next Generation.

 

 

August 30, 2022

 

 

  • Best Buy Co., Inc. (BBY) Reports Second Quarter Results; BBY reports second quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $1.54, a 48.3% decline from last year but $0.25 ahead of estimates. Revenue of $10.33 billion exceeds analysts' estimates by $80 million, despite a 12.8% decline compared to the same quarter last year. For FY23 Management expect comparable sales decline in a range around 11% and to Q3 FY23 that our comparable sales will decline slightly more than the 12.1% decline we reported for the second quarter.

 

  • Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTX) awarded $971.18M contract by Air Force; Raytheon Missiles & Defense, a RTX business, is awarded a $972 million contract for upgraded AMRAAM missiles. This is the first AMRAAM contract to produce an entire lot of AIM-120D3 and AIM-120C8 missiles developed under the Form, Fit, Function Refresh, also known as F3R, which updates both the missile's hardware and software.

 

 

August 31, 2022

 

  • Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) awarded a $121.57M firm-fixed-price contract for the purchase of Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Systems components and hardware for the Apache attack helicopter.

 

September 1, 2022

 

 

  • NCC AB (NCC) to extend senior high school in Västerås; Together with the City of Västerås, NCC will extend Carlforsska senior high school in Västerås. The extension will meet the growing school’s needs and challenges. The contract is a turnkey project in partnering form, and is valued at approximately SEK 150 million.

 

September 2, 2022

 

  • NCC AB (NCC) to build retirement home in Denmark; NCC has been contracted by Hjörring Municipality to build a new retirement home in Sindal, Denmark. The property will accommodate 96 residential units and common service areas. The order value is approximately SEK 230 million.
