Summer is over and so is August, autumn has begun and it's time to report my dividend income. In August 2022, the dividend income of my portfolio was as follows:

My Total dividends in August are € 1,561.27 ($ 1,587.42). After taxes, my net dividend income is € 1,151.20 ($ 1,170.57). In year 2021, my net dividend income in August was € 989.52 ($ 1,168.45). My portfolio's net dividend income increased by € 161.68 or 16.3% to compared the same month of previous year. Compared to the previous year, there have been some changes to the dividend income of August: Three new dividend payers have joined to the portfolio, namely TXN, MED and POW.TO and IPL.TO has left it. Additional purchases such as VZ, BMY and APD. Compared to a year ago, the holdings also included a few good dividend increases like CVS, UNM and RY.TO. Recent exchange rate developments have also had a positive impact on the portfolio's dividend income in euro.

This net passive income of € 1,151.20 means that I received a nice € 37.13 every day or € 1.55 per every hour during August, no matter what I did. Until the end of August, the corresponding amounts are €62.14 per day and €2.59 per hour.

  1. Great stuff as always DH! You've got to love getting that 1.55 euro per hr of extra earnings while doing nothing for it.
