Dividend Income - July 2022

The last month of summer, August is already upon us and more than half of Hawk's summer holiday has already also passed! Anyway, it's time again to report my dividend income for the last month. In July 2022, my dividend income was as follows:

My Total dividends in July are € 1,889.80 ($ 1,934.07). After taxes, my net dividend income is € 1,395.87 ($ 1,428.64). In year 2021, my net dividend income in July was € 1,272.54 ($ 1,506.93). My portfolio's net dividend income increased by € 123.33 or 9.7% to compared the same month of previous year. Compared to the previous year, there have been several changes to the dividend income of July: The main difference is that in 2021 TEL2 and TROW paid an extra dividend in July, three new dividend payers have joined to the portfolio, namely BBY, STOR and ONL besides VTR, VER and IPL.TO has left it and two more purchases namely CM.TO and TRP.TO. Compared to a year ago, the holdings also included a few good dividend increases like PEP, BNS.TO and TD.TO. Recent exchange rate developments have also had a positive impact on the portfolio's dividend income in euro.

This net passive income of € 1,395.87 means that I received a nice € 45.03 every day or € 1.88 per every hour during July, no matter what I did. Until the end of July, the corresponding amounts are €65.80 per day and €2.74 per hour.

This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 125,768.49.

Net income / expenditure

  • Net passive income for July was € 1,395.87, year total for to date € 13,949.32

  • Total expenditure for July was € 2,636.61, year total for to date € 10,457.37

  • The result for July was € -1,240.74, year total for to date € 3,491.95

I have now collected 69.7% of my target net passive income for this year, which is € 20,000.00. After July, it looks like I will exceed my target by a clear margin, but time will tell what will happen in the world over the next few months.

You can follow the development of my dividends here.

Full Disclosure: Long on above mentioned stocks except VTR, VER and IPL.TO
