- Kesko Corporation (KESKO) sales grew in December; KESKO Group's sales totalled €952.6 million in December 2021, representing an increase of 7.5% on the previous year. In comparable terms, sales grew by 7.4%.
January 18, 2022
- Fortum Corporation (FORTUM) initiates wind power cooperation in Russia; FORTUM is initiating cooperation in wind power generation in Russia with Bank GPB. For this purpose, 1.3 GW portfolio of wind projects is being transferred from the Fortum-Rusnano Wind Investment fund (50/50 joint venture) to a joint venture recently established with Bank GPB.
January 19, 2022
- Unilever PLC update; Unilever will not increase offer above £50bn to acquire the consumer unit of GlaxoSmithKline.
- Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) Announces Results for Fourth Quarter of 2021; KMI reports fourth quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $0.27, matching the previous year and was $0.01 better than expected. Revenue increased 42% to $4.43 billion and was $820 million ahead of expectations.
- The Kraft Heinz Company (KHC) Completes Acquisition of Majority Stake in Just Spices; KHC announced that it has completed its acquisition of an 85% stake in Germany-based Just Spices GmbH. The remaining 15% ownership stake has been retained by Just Spices’ three founders, who will continue on with the company and focus on driving the business and its international growth. The proposed deal was first announced on Dec. 10, 2021.
- Union Pacific Corporation (UNP) and Schneider to Team Up for Intermodal Service in 2023; UNP is pleased to announce it will be the primary intermodal rail transportation provider in the western U.S. for Schneider effective January 2023. The partnership creates seamless service and reliability between the railroad and Schneider which provides the critical “first and last miles” of the supply chain.
- Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) Announces Preliminary Estimate of Fourth Quarter 2021 Operating Results; MAIN's preliminary estimate of fourth quarter 2021 net investment income is $0.71 to $0.73 per share.
January 20, 2022
- WEC Energy Group, Inc. (WEC) raises quarterly dividend by 7.4 percent; As previously announced The board of directors of WEC today declared a quarterly cash dividend of 72.75 cents per share on the company's common stock, an increase of 7.4 percent over the current quarterly dividend of 67.75 cents per share. The higher dividend is payable March 1, 2022, to stockholders of record on Feb. 14, 2022.
- General Dynamics Corporation (GD) is awarded a ~$199.7M modification to exercise options on a previously awarded contract (N00024-22-C-4490) for the USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) fiscal 2022 docking selected restricted availability.
- Union Pacific Corporation (UNP) Reports Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2021 Results; UNP reports fourth quarter GAAP EPS of $2.66, a 12.71% increase from the previous year and $0.03 better than expected. Revenue grew 11.5% to $5.73 billion and was $120 million ahead of estimates.
