28th October 2015 I Bought 55 shares of HCP at $37.90 per share plus commission.

My overall cost basis of this position decreases from $41.18 to $39.43 per share. I totally hold now 100 shares of HCP and my yield on cost is 5.73%. You can look at my first purchase of HCP here.

Dividend Increase – ONEOK, Inc. (OKE)

Wednesday, October 21 ONEOK, Inc. announced a quarterly dividend increase of from $0.605 to $0.615 ($2.46 annualized) per share that’s payable November 13, 2015 to holders of record November 2, 2015. This represents a 1.65 % increase to regular quarterly dividends.

With current price $37.40 (today's open), this raise brings their dividend yield to 6.58%. 

Since I own 50 shares this will increase my yearly net dividends by $1.49.

That increase rises my YOC to 6.3 %.

Dividend Increase – Kinder Morgan Inc. (KMI)

Yesterday Kinder Morgan Inc. announced a quarterly dividend increase of from $0.49 to $0.51 ($2.04 annualized) per share that’s payable November 13, 2015 to holders of record November 2, 2015. This represents a 15.9 % increase over the second quarter 2014 dividend of $0.44 per share ($1.76 annualized) and a 4.08 % increase over for the second 2015 of $0.49 per share ($1.96 annualized)

With current price $31.42 (yesterday's close), this raise brings their dividend yield to 6.49%. 

Since I own 200 shares this will increase my yearly net dividends by $11.92.

That increase rises my YOC to 6.19 %.

Income and Expenses, Savings Rate for Q3 2015

October has passed already more than half, and 2015 is left only a few months. This year has so far been very lucrative for me, including a few nice surprises in the form of additional dividends. So now is the time to look at how I managed during the third quarter, and how my journey towards financial independence is progressing. As I mentioned in my first income / expenditure report, I will make a summary on a quarterly basis, because my months in the case of income are very different. Dividend Increase – Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc. (OHI)

Yesterday Omega Healthcare Investors Inc. announced a quarterly dividend increase of from $0.55 to $0.56 ($2.24 annualized) per share that’s payable November 16, 2015 to holders of record November 2, 2015. That's a 1.82% increase from the previous rate but a 7.70% increase year over year.

With current price $35.57 (today's open), this raise brings their dividend yield to 6.30%. 

Since I own 100 shares this will increase my yearly net dividends by $2.98.

That increase rises my YOC to 6.15 %.

Recent Sell - Gazprom OAO

On Wednesday, October 7, I sold all my shares of Gazprom.

I bought those shares in the summer of 2012 for $ 8.95 and now I sold them $ 4.45. In three years, the value of the shares lost about half. There are many different causes, low commodity prices, international politics etc. My loss of this adventure came to € 1090.58. When I take into account the dividends received during the three-year € 127.21, the total loss is € 963.37. This defeat can I reduce previous gains on the sale of this year and to lower my rate payable by the capital gains tax. 

Taking a small loss was the main reason to sell Gazprom's shares, secondly, I do not think Gazprom's a very good dividend payer in the future, and I also wanted to reduce the political risk of my holdings.
