Recent Buy - Johnson & Johnson (JNJ)

Yesterday on 23th April I added 20 shares of Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) at $99.94 per share plus commission ($5.00). My overall cost basis of this position increases from $100.15 to $100.17 per share. I totally hold now 40 shares of JNJ and my yield on cost is 2.99%. (after yesterday's dividend increase) You can look at my first purchase of JNJ here.

At today's exchange rate, this purchase 20 shares of JNJ will increase €41.39 ($44.70) of my expected annual net dividend income and will increase my portfolio's projected annual net dividend income to €9300.00.

Dividend Increase – Johnson & Johnson (JNJ)

Today the Board of Directors of Johnson & Johnson announced a quarterly dividend increase of from $0.70 to $0.75 per share that’s payable June 9, 2015 to holders of record May 26, 2015. This represents a 7.1% increase to regular quarterly dividends. With current price $100.50 (todays open), this raise brings their dividend yield to 2.99%. 

Since I own 40 shares, (I bought 20 more earlier today) this will increase my portfolio's projected annual net dividend income by $5.96.

That increase rises my YOC to 2.99%.

At the beginning of the year I started to keep track of my monthly income and expenses much more closely than in the past. Dividend Increase – Kinder Morgan Inc. (KMI)

Yesterday Kinder Morgan Inc. announced a quarterly dividend increase of from $0.45 to $0.48 ($1.92 annualized) per share that’s payable May 15, 2015 to holders of record April 30, 2015. This represents a 14.3 % increase over the first quarter 2014 dividend of $0.42 per share ($1.68 annualized) and a 6.67 % increase over for the first quarter 2015 of $0.45 per share ($1.80 annualized)

With current price $43.43 (yesterday's close), this raise brings their dividend yield to 4.42%. 

Since I own 200 shares this will increase my yearly net dividends by $17.88.

That increase rises my YOC to 5.83 %.
