- Ahold Delhaize N.V. (AMS:AD) Commences 2022 Share Buyback Program; AD commences the €1 billion share buyback program announced on November 15, 2021 and expects to complete the program before the end of 2022.
- Digital Realty Trust, Inc. (DLR) to Acquire Teraco; DLR announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Teraco, Africa's leading carrier-neutral colocation provider, from a consortium of investors, including Berkshire Partners and Permira, in a transaction valuing Teraco at approximately $3.5 billion.
- Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN) Completes Acquisition of New York American Water Company, Inc.; AQN announced that Liberty Utilities (Eastern Water Holdings) Corp. , a wholly-owned subsidiary of AQN's regulated utility operating subsidiary, Liberty Utilities Co. has successfully completed the previously-announced acquisition of New York American Water Company, Inc. from American Water Works Company, Inc. for a purchase price of approximately $608 million.
January 4, 2022
- Fortum Corporation’s (FORTUM) subsidiary Uniper takes precautionary financing; FORTUM has provided Uniper with intra-group financing in the format of a credit facility agreement of up to EUR 8 billion on arm’s length terms. This credit facility comprises two tranches: shareholder loan and parent company guarantee. To date, Uniper has used part of the facility.
- Telia Company (TELIA) in agreement to sell Telia Latvia to Tet; TELIA has entered into an agreement to sell its 100% ownership in Telia Latvija SIA ("Telia Latvia") to Tet SIA ("Tet") at a price corresponding to an enterprise value of EUR 10.75 million on a cash and debt free basis.
- NCC AB (NCC) to construct Stationshusen in Märsta; NCC, in partnership with Sigtunahem, will construct a new residential block at Sätuna torg in Märsta, Sigtuna Municipality. The project is a turnkey contract with an order value of approximately SEK 300 million.
- NCC AB (NCC) to construct 170 tenant-owner apartments in Järfälla; NCC, in partnership with Nordr, is to construct approximately 170 tenant-owner apartments in Veddestaden, Järfälla Municipality. The project is a turnkey contract with an order value of approximately SEK 300 million.
- UGI Corporation (UGI) to Acquire Stonehenge Appalachia Midstream Natural Gas Gathering System; UGI announced that its subsidiary, UGI Energy Services, LLC (“UGIES”), has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Stonehenge Appalachia, LLC (“Stonehenge”) from Stonehenge Energy Holdings, LLC for approximately $190 million. This investment is expected to be immediately accretive to adjusted earnings.
- Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) Announces New Portfolio Investment; MAIN is pleased to announce that it recently completed a new portfolio investment in a leading retailer of luxury goods in the United States (the "Company") to finance a management led buyout of the Company. Main Street, along with its co-investor, partnered with the Company's senior management team to facilitate the transaction, with Main Street funding $47.4 million in a combination of first lien, senior secured term debt and a direct equity investment.

- UGI Corporation (UGI) and Vertimass Enter Agreement to Produce Renewable Fuels in the U.S. and Europe; UGI announced that it has entered into a 15-year agreement with California-based technology developer, Vertimass, to utilize their catalytic technology to produce renewable fuels from renewable-ethanol in the U.S. and Europe.
- Eaton Corporation plc (ETN) Acquires Royal Power Solutions; ETN announced it has completed the acquisition of Royal Power Solutions, a U.S.-based manufacturer of high-precision electrical connectivity components used in electric vehicle, energy management, industrial and mobility markets. Under the terms of the agreement, Eaton paid $600 million for Royal Power Solutions, which represents approximately 13.6 times the company’s estimated 2022 EBITDA.
- Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) Announces New Portfolio Investment; MAIN is pleased to announce that it recently completed a new portfolio investment in Career Team Holdings, LLC to facilitate the recapitalizations of Career TEAM, LLC and Career Edge, LLC. MAIN funding $24.8 million in a combination of first-lien, senior secured term debt and a minority direct equity investment.

- Viatris Inc. (VTRS) Announces 9% Dividend Increase; VTRS announced that its Board of Directors approved a 9% increase in its quarterly dividend and declared a dividend for the first quarter of 2022 of 12 cents ($0.12) per share on outstanding common stock. The dividend will be payable on March 16, 2022 to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 24, 2022.
- Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (WBA) Reports Fiscal 2022 First Quarter Results; WBA reports Q1 Non-GAAP EPS of $1.68, a 53.2% increase from the previous year and $0.34 better than expected. Revenue grew 7.9% to $33.9 billion, topping estimates by $950 million.
- Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) Announces Follow-On Investments; MAIN Invests $9.5 Million in Direct Marketing Solutions, Inc. and $6.3 Million in Nebraska Vet AcquireCo, LLC
