- Viatris Inc. (VTRS) Reports Third Quarter Results; VTRS reports adjusted earnings of $0.99, beating analyst estimates by $0.13, but decreasing 25% from the prior year. Revenue grew 53.2% to $4.52 billion, which was $130 million ahead of expectations.
November 9, 2021
- Cardinal Health, Inc. (CAH) Reports First Quarter Fiscal 2022 Results; CAH reports Q1 Non-GAAP EPS of $1.29, a decline of 15% from last year and $0.06 below estimates. Revenue grew 12.5% to $43.97 billion, topping estimates by $2.14 billion.
- WestRock Company (WRK) Reports Fiscal 2021 Fourth Quarter Results; WRK reports Q4 Non-GAAP EPS of $1.23, a 68.4% increase year-over-year and $0.08 ahead of estimates. Revenue grew 14.1% to $5.1 billion, topping estimates by $100 million.
- Prudential Financial, Inc. (PRU) Announces Share Repurchase Authorization; PRU’s Board of Directors has authorized the repurchase of up to $1.5 billion of its outstanding Common Stock during the period from January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022.
November 10, 2021
- Bonava AB (BONAVA) concludes divestment of assets in Copenhagen; BONAVA signed an agreement to divest the remaining land bank in Copenhagen, Denmark, to Ikano Bolig A/S. The transaction has now been completed and the final consideration amounts to, as communicated earlier, SEK 545 million.
- Ahold Delhaize N.V. (AMS:AD) Reports Third Quarter Results; AD reports Q3 Non-GAAP EPS of €0.53, an 8.1% increase year-over-year and €0.03 ahead of estimates. Revenue grew 4.0% to €18.55 billion, which was €350 million ahead of expectations.
- Emera Incorporated (EMA) Reports 2021 Third Quarter Financial Results; EMA reports third quarter Non-GAAP EPS of C$0.68, a 1.49% improvement from the previous year.
- Lazard Ltd (LAZ) Reports October 2021 Assets Under Management; LAZ report preliminary assets under management of $279.7B at Oct. 31, 2021 rises from $272.6B at Sept. 30.
- Hyzon Motors and TC Energy Corporation (TRP) announce hydrogen modular production hub development agreement
November 11, 2021
- Kesko Corporation’s (KESKO) sales grew in October; KESKO Group's sales totalled €985.7 million in October 2021, representing an increase of 5.0% on the previous year. In comparable terms, sales grew by 3.7%.
- NCC AB (NCC) to construct 164 residential units in Jönköping for Vätterhem; NCC, in cooperation with Vätterhem, is to construct 120 rental units and 44 sheltered housing units in the Strandängen city district of Jönköping. The project is included in the parties’ strategic partnering arrangement. The order value is approximately SEK 400 million.
- Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. (BIP) and Brookfield Infrastructure Corporation (BIPC) Announce US$1 Billion Equity Offering; The Offerings are comprised of 8,240,800 Partnership limited partnership units (“LP Units”) and 1,860,900 BIPC class A exchangeable subordinate voting shares (“Exchangeable Shares”). The LP Units were sold at a price of US$58.65 per LP Unit and the Exchangeable Shares were sold at a price of US$62.70 per Exchangeable Share.
- Baxter International Inc. (BAX) to spend $100M to expand fill/finish facility in Germany; BAX announced an approximately $100 million expansion of its sterile fill/finish manufacturing facility located in Halle/Westfalen, Germany. Construction on the new manufacturing building is expected to begin in 2022 and be completed in 2024.
- Flowers Foods, Inc. (FLO) Reports Third Quarter 2021 Results; FLO reports Q3 Non-GAAP EPS of $0.30, a 3.45% increase year-over-year and $0.05 ahead of estimates. Revenue grew 4.1% to $1.03 billion, topping estimates by $20 million.
- Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN) Announces 2021 Third Quarter Financial Results; AQN reports Q3 Non-GAAP EPS of $0.15 in line with the third quarter of 2020 and in line with expectations. Revenue grew 40.5% to $528.6 million, which was $39.52 million ahead of expectations.
November 12, 2021
- Fortum Corporation (FORTUM) Reports Third Quarter Results; FORTUM reports third quarter comparable earnings per share were €0.19, compared with a third-quarter 2020 loss €0.10. Revenue grew 68.7% to €23,700 million, topping estimates by €3,200 million.
- Bonava AB (BONAVA) acquires approximately 370 building rights in Umeå; BONAVA Bonava has signed an agreement to acquire approximately 370 building rights for multi-family housing in Umeå from Motorcentralen. The final purchase price is based on the planned area for housing units and will be paid in conjunction with the zoning plan entering force, on a preliminary basis, in late 2023. The start of construction is planned for 2024.
- Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) Announces Plans to Split into Two Public Companies; JNJ announced its intent to separate the Company’s Consumer Health business, creating a new publicly traded company. The transaction is intended to qualify as a tax-free separation for U.S. federal income tax purposes. The Company is targeting completion of the planned separation in 18 to 24 months. In addition, it is expected that the overall shareholder dividend will remain at least at the same level following the completion of the transaction.
