  • Pentagon And Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) Agree To F-35 Production Rebaseline; The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) and LMT industry team have agreed on an F-35 production rebaseline that ensures predictability and stability in the production process while recovering the aircraft shortfall realized over the last year during the COVID-19 pandemic. With this agreement, Lockheed Martin is scheduled to deliver 133-139 aircraft this year, 151-153 aircraft in 2022 and anticipates delivering 156 aircraft beginning in 2023 and for the foreseeable future.

  • U.S. Dept. of Labor awards Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) Public Sector $887M for network modernization; The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has awarded VZ Public Sector five Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) task orders to modernize legacy network infrastructure including data, voice, unified communications, video services and enterprise applications for its 20,000 users. Verizon Public Sector’s partnership with the DOL will result in a highly secure, converged data and voice network across nearly 1,000 locations.

  • Starbucks Corporation (SBUX) Announces Increase in Quarterly Cash Dividend; SBUX announced that its Board of Directors has approved an increase in the company’s quarterly cash dividend from $0.45 to $0.49 per share. This increase will be effective with the dividend payment to be distributed on November 26, 2021, to shareholders of record on November 12, 2021, and raises the company’s annual dividend to $1.96 per share.

 

  • Enbridge Inc. (ENB) Line 3 Replacement Project Substantially Completed; ENB announced the achievement of a major milestone with the substantial completion of the Line 3 Replacement Project and the establishment of an in-service date of October 1. This step marks the full replacement of the entire 1,765-kilometre/1,097-mile-long pipeline from Edmonton, AB. to Superior, WI. With new state-of-the-art, thicker-walled pipe, its completion ensures a safe, reliable supply of North American crude oil to U.S. refineries, helping fuel the quality of life for millions of people.

 

  • Fortis Inc. (FTS) Announces Quarterly Dividend Increase; The Board of Directors of FTS declared a common share dividend of $0.535 per share on the issued and outstanding fully paid common shares of the Corporation, representing an approximate 6% increase in the quarterly dividend, payable on December 1, 2021 to the common Shareholders of Record at the close of business on November 17, 2021, marking 48 consecutive years of increased dividends.

  • UPM-Kymmene Corporation (UPM) has transferred its Shotton paper mill site to Eren Paper Ltd; UPM has permanently closed paper production at its Shotton newsprint mill site in North Wales, United Kingdom. The site and all related assets will now be transferred to Eren Paper Ltd, a subsidiary of Modern Karton Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.Ş., the containerboard and corrugated packaging business of the Turkish industrial conglomerate Eren Holding (“Eren”), thereby closing the transaction announced in May 2021. Eren will now start working on the conversion of the site.

 

  • NCC AB (NCC) sells office project in Mölndal to Platzer; NCC has signed an agreement for Platzer to acquire NCC’s Mimo project in Mölndal on its completion, which is scheduled for 2024, in accordance with the option between the parties. The transaction is based on a property value of just over SEK 1.5 billion.

 

 

  • General Dynamics Corporation (GD) Electric Boat awarded a $475M cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to previously awarded contract N00024-17-C-2117 for lead yard support efforts serving the entire Columbia-class fleet ballistic missile submarines through 2028.

  • Bonava AB (BONAVA) divests assets in Copenhagen; BONAVA has signed an agreement to divest its remaining land bank in Copenhagen, Denmark, to Ikano Bolig A/S for a cash purchase price of SEK 545 million. The divestment will have a positive effect on pre-tax profit, including transaction costs, of SEK 226 million during the fourth quarter of 2021.

 

  • Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) Space is awarded a $445.45M fixed-price incentive, cost-plus-incentive-fee, and cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (PZ0001) to a previously awarded and announced unpriced letter contract (N0003021C0100) for Trident II (D5) missile production and deployed systems support.
