September 9, 2021

 

  • I purchased 40 shares of Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) at $ 54.85 per share plus commission.

 

At today's exchange rate that purchase 40 shares of VZ will increase € 64.57 of my expected annual net dividend income. My overall cost basis of this position decreases from $ 56.58 to $ 56.09 per share. I totally hold now 130 shares of Verizon and my yield on cost is 4.56%. After this acquisition, VZ’s weight of my portfolio is about 0.90% and its share of future annual dividend income is approximately 1.24%.

  • Neste Corporation (NESTE) to acquire US based Agri Trading; NESTE has agreed to acquire 100% of Agri Trading, one of the largest independent renewable waste and residue fat and oil traders in the United States, and its affiliate entities. The transaction is subject to the completion of customary closing conditions and regulatory approval.

 

  • Tele2 AB (TEL2) and Deutsche Telekom divest T-Mobile Netherlands; TEL2 and Deutsche Telekom have agreed to sell T-Mobile Netherlands to funds advised by Apax Partners LLP and Warburg Pincus LLC for an enterprise value of EUR 5.1 billion. The TEL2 Board of Directors intends to propose an extraordinary dividend of at least SEK 11 per share, pending closing of the transaction and the receival of cash proceeds.

  • Archer-Daniels-Midland Company (ADM) Significantly Expands Pet Treat and Supplement Capabilities; ADM announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire a 75% ownership stake in PetDine, Pedigree Ovens, The Pound Bakery and NutraDine (P4 Companies), premier providers of private label pet treats and supplements. The transaction values the four enterprises in their entirety at approximately $600 million, and ADM will acquire 75% of the equity, subject to customary adjustments.

 

  • Liberty and JPMorgan Chase collaborate on 108 MW wind project in Illinois; Liberty, a part of Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN), announced today its collaboration with JPMorgan Chase (JPM) on the 108 MW Shady Oaks II wind project that is expected to bring almost 350,000 MWh of clean energy to the U.S. grid per year. JPMorgan Chase will purchase approximately 70% of the wind farm’s energy output, which will serve as the largest contribution to date toward JPMorgan Chase’s 100% renewable energy commitment, supplying the equivalent of about 14 percent of its global power needs.
