- Resolutions by Tele2’s (TEL2 B) Extraordinary General Meeting; TEL2’s Extraordinary General Meeting resolved on an extraordinary dividend to the company’s shareholders of SEK 3.00 per share, with the record date set to 30 June 2021.
- VF Corporation (VFC) Completes the Sale of the Occupational Portion of Its Work Segment; VFC announced that it has completed the sale of the occupational portion of its Work segment to a subsidiary of Redwood Capital Investments, LLC, a diversified holding company.
June 29, 2021
- Bonava AB (BONAVA) sells 66 rental apartments in Turku, Finland; BONAVA has sold 66 rental apartments in Turku (Åbo), Finland, to Sirius Capital Partners. The first housing units are expected to be completed and handed over to the customer in the third quarter of 2022.
June 30, 2021
- Fortum Corporation (FORTUM) to sell its 50% ownership in Stockholm Exergi; FORTUM has today signed an agreement to sell its 50% ownership in the Swedish district heating and cooling company – Stockholm Exergi Holding AB (publ) – to a group of long-term European institutional investors with a strong commitment to the infrastructure sector. Fortum expects to record a tax-exempt capital gain of approximately EUR 2.4 billion.
- Telia Company (TELIA) reaches agreement to sell part of its tower business in Norway and Finland; TELIA announces the sale of 49 percent of its tower business in Finland and Norway to Brookfield and Alecta, at a price corresponding to an enterprise value for 100 percent of EUR 1,524 million on a cash and debt free basis.
- General Mills, Inc. (GIS) Reports Fourth-Quarter and Full-Year Results for Fiscal 2021 and Provides Fiscal 2022 Outlook; GIS reports fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $0.68, a decline of 33% year-over-year and $0.17 lower than expected. Revenue was lower by 10% to $4.52 billion, $160 million better than expected. For FY2022 organic net sales are expected to decline 1% to 3%.
- Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT): Switzerland Selects F-35 Lightning II For Future Air Defense Requirements; The Swiss Federal Council announced Lockheed Martin's F-35 Lightning II is the aircraft selected from its New Fighter Aircraft competition.
July 1, 2021
- NCC AB (NCC) signs SEK 1.9 billion contract with Bane NOR; NCC and Bane NOR, the state-owned company responsible for the Norwegian national railway infrastructure, have signed an agreement to convert the Drammen railway station area in Norway. The project is highly complex in terms of the planning, logistics and coordination of several technically challenging elements. The order value amounts to approximately SEK 1.9 billion.
- NCC AB (NCC) sells office project in Järva Krog; NCC is to sell the K11 office project in Järva Krog to Castellum for just over SEK 1 billion. Following the completion of K11, the first block of three in the new neighborhood has now been fully developed.
- Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (WBA) Reports Fiscal 2021 Third Quarter Results; WBA reports GAAP EPS of $1.27, $0.36 higher than expected. Revenue increased 12.1% to $34.03 billion, $560 million more than expected.
- Philip Morris International Inc. (PM) Announces Agreement to Acquire Fertin Pharma; PM announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Fertin Pharma A/S (Fertin Pharma), a leading developer and manufacturer of innovative pharmaceutical and well-being products based on oral and intra-oral delivery systems, for an enterprise value of DKK 5.1 billion (approximately USD 820 million1).
July 2, 2021
- Bonava AB (BONAVA) acquires land for 77 single-family homes in Steninge, Stockholm; BONAVA acquires land in Steninge, Sigtuna Municipality, just outside Stockholm, from Gediminas Property AB. The transaction amounts to SEK 92 million in underlying property value. There is a zoning plan for the land and Bonava is planning to construct 77 Nordic Swan eco-labelled single family homes. The first housing units are expected to be completed and handed over to the customer in the third quarter of 2023.
