- Orion Corporation (ORNBV) Half-Year Financial Report 1-6/2021; ORNBV reports second quarter earnings per share of €0.40, 25.9% lower than the prior year but €0.05 ahead of estimates. Revenue declined 12.9% to €255 million, which was in line with expectations.
July 20, 2021
- Bonava AB (BONAVA) Q2 interim report 2021; BONAVA reports second quarter EPS of SEK 0.71, a 318% increase from last year. Revenue declined 4.5% to SEK 3,379 million, which beat estimates by SEK 723 million.
- Philip Morris International Inc. (PM) Reports 2021 Second-Quarter Results; PM reports Second quarter diluted EPS of $1.39, a 11.2% increase from last year but $0.09 lower than expected. Revenue improved 14.1% to $7.59 billion, which was $120 million below expectations.
July 21, 2021
- Telia Company (TELIA) Interim Report January-June 2021; TELIA reports second quarter EPS of SEK 1.97. Revenue improved 0.5% to SEK 21,877 million, which beat estimates by SEK 170 million.
- NCC AB (NCC) interim report for the second quarter 2021; NCC reports second quarter EPS of SEK 3.61, a 10.4% decrease from the prior year. Operating profit improved 0.8% to SEK 487 million and topped expectations by SEK 41 million. Orders increased 30.2% to 16.6 billion, $2.4 billion better than expected.
- AT&T Inc. (T) Selling Vrio Operations to Grupo Werthein; Grupo Werthein and T announced that Grupo Werthein has reached an agreement to acquire AT&T’s Vrio Corp. business unit, with $4.6B impairment.
- Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) Reports Q2 2021 Results; VZ reports GAAP EPS of $1.40 beating analyst estimates by $0.11 and increasing 22.8% year-over-year. Revenue of $33.8 billion beats analyst estimates by $1.07 billion and increases 11.2% versus the same quarter last year.
- Duke Energy Corporation (DUK) announces 4 new solar sites; Duke Energy Florida today announced the locations of its four newest solar power plants. Duke Energy Florida plans to invest an estimated $1 billion in 10 new solar power plants across Florida, including the four sites announced today.
- Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) Reports Results for Second Quarter Of 2021; KMI reports Non-GAAP EPS of $0.23, $0.04 higher than expected. Revenue increased 23% to $3.15 billion, $250 million higher than expected.
- Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) Reports Q2 2021 Results; JNJ reports Q2 GAAP EPS of $2.35, a 72.8% improvement from the previous year and $0.31 above estimates. Revenue increased 27.1% to $23.31 billion, $770 million better than expected.
- The Coca-Cola Company (KO) Reports Second Quarter Results; KO reports Q2 GAAP EPS of $0.61 beats by $0.05 and a 42% improvement from the previous year. Revenue increased 42% to $10.1 billion, $800 million better than expected.
- Prudential Financial, Inc. (PRU) to sell its full-service retirement business to Empower; Subject to regulatory approvals, Empower will acquire Prudential’s full-service retirement plan recordkeeping and administration business for a total transaction value of $3.55 billion

- UPM-Kymmene Corporation (UPM) Interim Report Q2 2021; UPM reports second quarter EPS of €0.45, 55.2% higher than the prior year and €0.05 above estimates. Revenue improved 14.8% to €2,384 million, €133 million better than expected.
- Unilever PLC (UL) Released 2021 First Half Year Results; UL reports first half year Non-GAAP EPS of €1.33, €0.08higher than expected. Revenue improved 0.3% to €25.79 billion, €60 million higher than expected.
- AT&T Inc. (T) Reports Second-Quarter Results; T reports second quarter adjusted EPS of $1.53, 7.2% higher than the prior year and $0.09 above estimates. Revenue improved 7.4% to $44 billion, $1.27 billion better than expected.
- Intel Corporation (INTC) Reports Second-Quarter 2021 Financial Results; INTC reports second quarter GAAP EPS of $1.24, 4.2% higher than the prior year and $0.19 above estimates. Non-GAAP Revenue improved 2% to $18.5 billion, $700 million better than expected.
- Union Pacific Corporation (UNP) Reports Second Quarter 2021 Results; UNP reports second quarter GAAP EPS of $2.72, 63% above last year's result and $0.17 higher than expected. Revenue improved 29.7% to $5.52 billion, $110 million higher than expected.
- Visa Inc. (V) to Acquire Currencycloud; V announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Currencycloud, a global platform that enables banks and fintechs to provide innovative foreign exchange solutions for cross-border payments. The acquisition builds on an existing strategic partnership between the two companies and values Currencycloud at £700 million, inclusive of cash and retention incentives.
- Magna International Inc. (MGA) to Acquire Veoneer; MGA will acquire Veoneer, a leader in automotive safety technology. Pursuant to the agreement, Magna will acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Veoneer for $31.25 per share in cash, representing an equity value of $3.8 billion, and an enterprise value of $3.3 billion, inclusive of Veoneer’s cash, net of debt and other debt-like items as of March 31, 2021.

- Kesko Corporation (KESKO) reports half-year financial report; KESKO reports second quarter EPS of €0.40, 66.7% higher than the prior. Revenue improved 6.2% to €2,988 million.
- Kesko Corporation (KESKO) to acquire Byggarnas Partner; KESKO will acquire Byggarnas Partner, thus strengthening its position in the Swedish building and home improvement trade market further, especially in the Stockholm area.
- Kimberly-Clark Corporation (KMB) Announces Second Quarter 2021 Results; KMB reports second quarter adjusted EPS of $1.19, 40% lower than the prior year and $0.52 lower than expected. Revenue grew 2.4% to $4.72 billion, but was $0.50 million lower than expected.
