- I purchased 40 shares of Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) at $ 55.99 per share plus commission.
At today's exchange rate, that purchase 40 shares of VZ will increase € 62.69 ($ 74.80) of my expected annual net dividend income and will increase my portfolio's projected annual net dividend income to € 16,570.00. My overall cost basis of this position decreases from $ 56.93 to $ 56.58 per share. I totally hold now 90 shares of VZ and my yield on cost is 4.44%. After this acquisition, VZ’s weight of my portfolio is about 0.65% and its share of future annual dividend income is approximately 0.85%.

- Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) announces acquisition of precise positioning company, Senion; VZ announced the acquisition of Senion, a global leader in location-responsive solutions. The developer of an indoor positioning platform, Senion’s advanced machine-learning sensor fusion technology delivers sub-meter accuracy for precise positioning and navigation of indoor spaces.
- Duke Energy Corporation (DUK) seeks subsequent license renewal for Oconee Nuclear Station; DUK intends to renew the operating licenses of all 11 reactors it operates for an additional 20 years to support its carbon reduction goals.
- Nutrien Ltd. (NTR) Raises Guidance: Announces a Further Half-Million Tonne Increase in 2021 Potash Production; NTR announced that it has increased its first-half 2021 earnings guidance given the strength in global fertilizer markets and strong operational results. First-half 2021 adjusted net earnings per share (EPS) is expected to be $2.30 to $2.50, up significantly from our previous guidance of $2.00 to $2.20

- Fortum Corporation (FORTUM) to divest 500 MW of solar power plants in India; FORTUM has signed an agreement to divest the 250-MW Pavagada II and the 250-MW Rajasthan solar power plants in India to Actis, a global infrastructure investment firm. The divestment is expected to have a positive impact of approximately EUR 20 million on the City Solutions segment’s results.
- Duke Energy Corporation (DUK) begins construction on solar plant in Surry County, N.C.; DUK continues to expand solar power in North Carolina with construction starting on its 22.6-megawatt (MW) Stony Knoll Solar power plant. Once completed, it will be the largest solar plant in Surry County.

- Visa Inc. (V) To Acquire European Open Banking Platform Tink; V announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Tink, a European open banking platform that enables financial institutions, fintechs and merchants to build tailored financial management tools, products and services for European consumers and businesses based on their financial data. Visa will pay total financial consideration of 1.8 billion Euros, inclusive of cash and retention incentives, to acquire Tink.
- Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CM) announces minority investment in Loop Capital; CM announced that it has completed a strategic investment in Loop Capital, a Chicago headquartered financial services firm providing investment banking, brokerage, asset management and wealth management services to corporations, municipalities, hospitals, universities, institutional investors and high net worth individuals.
June 24, 2021
- NCC AB (NCC) divests additional Company House to PensionDanmark; NCC is divesting the Omega Company House office building in the Skejby area of Aarhus to PensionDanmark for approximately SEK 260 million. The agreement adds an additional office building in Skejby to PensionDanmark’s portfolio, which thereby owns three office buildings and one hotel in one of the most attractive areas of Aarhus.
