- I purchased 150 shares of Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN) at CA$ 18.54 per share plus commission.
At today's exchange rate, that purchase 150 shares of AQN will increase € 62.69 ($ 69.55) of my expected annual net dividend income and will increase my portfolio's projected annual net dividend income to € 16,230.00. My overall cost basis of this position increases from CA$ 11.99 to CA$ 13.56 per share. I totally hold now 650 shares of AQN and my yield on cost is 6.08%. After this acquisition, AQN’s weight of my portfolio is about 1.26% and its share of future annual dividend income is approximately 1.67%.

- Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) to Purchase Stagecoach Gas Services; KMI announced that it has agreed to acquire Stagecoach Gas Services LLC. Stagecoach consists of 4 natural gas storage facilities with a total FERC-certificated working gas capacity of 41 billion cubic feet and 185 miles of natural gas pipelines with multiple interconnects to major interstate natural gas pipelines, including Tennessee Gas Pipeline (TGP), a KMI subsidiary. The transaction requires regulatory approval under Hart-Scott-Rodino, and it is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021.
- Eaton Corporation plc (ETN) completes acquisition of Cobham Mission Systems; ETN announced it has completed the acquisition of Cobham Mission Systems. Cobham is a leading manufacturer of air-to-air refueling systems, environmental systems, and actuation, primarily for defense markets. The business has a workforce of approximately 2,000 people and manufacturing facilities in the United States and United Kingdom.
- The Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) reports second quarter results; BNS reports second quarter GAAP EPS of C$1.88, a 88% increase from last year and C$0.16 ahead of estimates. Revenue decreases 2.8% to C$7.74 billion, C$120 million lower than expected.
- Pembina Pipeline to buy Inter Pipeline (IPL) in C$8.3B all-stock deal; Pembina Pipeline Corporation (TSX: PPL) (NYSE: PBA) and Inter Pipeline Ltd. (TSX: IPL) announced that they have entered into an arrangement agreement for Pembina to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Inter Pipeline in a share-for-share transaction, which values Inter Pipeline common shares at approximately $8.3 billion, or $19.45 per share, based on the closing price of Pembina’s common shares on May 31, 2021.

- Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (WBA) Completes Strategic Transaction with AmerisourceBergen Divesting Alliance Healthcare Businesses; WBA announced it has completed the sale of its Alliance Healthcare businesses to AmerisourceBergen for total consideration of approximately $6.5 billion, made up of $6.275 billion in cash and 2 million shares of AmerisourceBergen common stock. The company will use the cash proceeds to reduce debt and accelerate growth of its core retail pharmacy and healthcare businesses.

- Fortum Corporation (FORTUM) to increase its wind capacity in Russia; The Fortum-Rusnano wind investment fund has made an investment decision on the construction of wind power parks with a total capacity of 236.6 MW in the Samara region in Russia.
- Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. (BIP), (BIPC) Responds to Inter Pipeline Press Release; BIP Files Notice of Variation, Change and Extension of the Terms of the Offer to Purchase Inter Pipeline Ltd. for Aggregate Consideration of C$19.75 per Share.
