On Wednesday, March 6 I bought 50 shares of Magna
International Inc. at $ 52.12 per share plus commission.
My overall cost basis of this position increases from $
38.43 to $ 45.50 per share. I totally hold now 100 shares of MGA and my yield
on cost is 3.21%. I purchased my first MGA's shares in June 2016, which you can
read here.
Details of my purchase:
With current quarterly dividend ($ 0.365), my last
purchase 50 shares of MGA will increase € 48.47 ($ 54.39) of expected annual
net dividend income. At today's exchange rate, this purchase will increase my
portfolio projected annual net dividend income approximately to € 14,480.00.
After this acquisition, MGA's weight of my portfolio is about 0.98% and its
share of future annual dividend income is approximately 0.67%. In the
near future, I have no intention of increasing the amount of MGA in my
portfolio, though, if the share price drops sharply with the market, I may add
a little.
