- Kesko Corporation’s sales in September; KESKOs sales increased by 9.6% in September. Sales increased in all three divisions. In the grocery trade division, sales to K Group grocery stores increased by 4.9% and Kespro’s sales by 2.3%. In the building and technical trade division, sales increased in comparable terms in all operating countries. In the car trade division, sales increased in new and used cars and in services.
- Unilever PLC (AMS:UNA) Announces Sale of Kate Somerville; UNA announced the sale of the Kate Somerville brand to Rare Beauty Brands. The Kate Somerville brand includes skincare, body care, and a clinic on Melrose Place, Los Angeles. The transaction is expected to close in Q4 of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
- Eversource Energy (ES) Provides Update on Offshore Wind Liability; ES announced that it expects to record an after-tax charge of approximately $75 million, or $0.20 per share, in the third quarter, related to an increased liability from the sale of its South Fork Wind and Revolution Wind projects to Global Infrastructure Partners. The company also narrowed its full-year 2025 non-GAAP recurring earnings guidance to a range of $4.72 to $4.80 per share, compared to the previous range of $4.67 to $4.82 per share.
- Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) Reports Q3 2025 Results; JNJ reported third-quarter non-GAAP earnings per share (EPS) of $2.80, representing a 15.7% year-over-year increase and topping analyst expectations by $0.04. Revenue rose 6.8% to $24.0 billion, surpassing estimates by $240 million. For fiscal year 2025, management raised its full-year operational sales guidance to a range of $93.0 billion to $93.4 billion and reaffirmed its adjusted EPS outlook of $10.80 to $10.95.
- Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) Announces Preliminary Estimate of Third Quarter 2025 Operating Results; MAIN announced a preliminary estimate for the third quarter of 2025, projecting net investment income (NII) between $0.95 and $0.99 per share, distributable net investment income (DNII) between $1.01 and $1.05 per share, and DNII before taxes between $1.05 and $1.09 per share. The company also estimates its net asset value (NAV) per share at $32.74 to $32.82 as of September 30, 2025, reflecting an increase of $0.44 to $0.52 per share, or 1.3% to 1.6%, from the NAV of $32.30 as of June 30, 2025.

- Viatris Inc. (VTRS) Completes Acquisition of Aculys Pharma; VTRS announced it has acquired Aculys Pharma, Inc., a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on commercializing innovative treatments for neurological conditions. Viatris received rights to develop and commercialize pitolisant and Spydia®, two assets in the Central Nervous System (CNS) therapy area, further expanding Viatris' portfolio of innovative products in Japan.
- Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN) Announces New Portfolio Investment; MAIN announced that it recently completed a new portfolio investment totaling $81.0 million to facilitate the minority recapitalization of a leading musculoskeletal care management services organization located in the Southeastern U.S.

- Nordea Bank Abp (NDA) Third-Quarter Results 2025; NDA reported third-quarter earnings per share (EPS) of €0.36, unchanged from the same period last year and €0.03 above analyst expectations. Revenue totaled €2,910 million, beating estimates by €42 million but declining 3.5% year-over-year. The bank’s Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio strengthened to 15.9% at the end of the quarter, an improvement of 63 basis points from the previous quarter.
- Bank OZK (OZK) Announces Third Quarter 2025 Earnings; OZK reported third-quarter GAAP EPS of $1.59, missing analyst expectations by $0.10 but marking a 2.6% year-over-year increase. Revenue rose 6.4% from the prior year to $450 million, exceeding estimates by $3.07 million. Net interest income grew to $413.9 million, up from $396.7 million in Q2 and $389.4 million in the same period last year. Provision for credit losses increased to $48.3 million, compared with $35.2 million in Q2 and $46.4 million in Q3 2024. The bank maintained strong capital levels, with a total common stockholders’ equity to total assets ratio of 13.83% and a tangible common equity (TCE) ratio of 12.44%.

- Ally Financial Inc. (ALLY) Reports Third Quarter 2025 Financial Results; ALLY reported third-quarter non-GAAP EPS of $1.15, representing a 116% year-over-year increase and surpassing analyst expectations by $0.14. Revenue came in at $2.16 billion, up 3.3% from the prior year and $50 million above estimates. The company’s Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio improved to 10.1%, a 20-basis-point increase from the previous quarter. Adjusted provision for credit losses rose to $415 million, compared with $384 million in Q2, but decreased from $645 million in the same period last year.
