- I opened a new position and purchased 70 shares of Bank OZK (OZK) at $39.00 per share plus commission.
At today's exchange rate, that purchase 70 shares of OZK will increase €75.57 of my expected annual net dividend income. With purchase price $39.00 plus commission ($5.51) my starting yield on cost is 4.09%. After this acquisition, OZK’s weight of my portfolio is about 0.36% and its share of future annual dividend income is approximately 0.33%.

- Pembina Pipeline Corporation (TSE:PPL) Announces Pembina Gas Infrastructure’s Agreement to Acquire Midstream Assets From Veren Inc.; PPL announced its Pembina Gas Infrastructure unit, which is jointly owned by KKR, will acquire four oil battery sites in the Gold Creek and Karr areas, which have a natural gas handling capacity of 320M cf/day and liquids handling capacity of 53K bbl/day. The net purchase price related to the acquisition of the batteries is C$400 million (C$240 million, net to Pembina).

- NCC AB (NCC) to build new production premises for BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden; NCC has signed an agreement with BAE Systems Hägglunds to build new production premises in Örnsköldsvik. The project is a turnkey contract in partnering form with an order value of approximately SEK 560 million.
- United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) Bolsters Healthcare Logistics Capabilities with Cold-Chain Acquisitions; UPS announced that is has agreed to acquire Frigo-Trans, and its sister company BPL, (together “Frigo-Trans”) industry-leading, complex healthcare logistics providers based in Germany. Once completed, the acquisition will enhance UPS’s end-to-end capabilities throughout Europe for UPS Healthcare customers who increasingly require temperature-sensitive and time-critical logistics. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2025, subject to customary regulatory reviews and approvals. The value and terms of the transaction are not being disclosed at this time.
- Realty Income Corporation (O) Increased Dividend; O announced it has declared an increase in the company's common stock monthly cash dividend to $0.2635 per share from $0.2630 per share. The dividend is payable on October 15, 2024, to stockholders of record as of October 1, 2024. This is the 127th dividend increase since Realty Income's listing on the NYSE in 1994.

- Neste Corporation (NESTE) Revises Downwards iIs 2024 Guidance For Renewable Products; NESTEs' revised 2024 guidance for Renewable Products is: Renewable Products’ total sales volume is expected to increase from 2023 and to reach approximately 3.9 Mt (+/- 5%) in 2024, out of which SAF sales volume is expected to be 0.35–0.55 Mton. Renewable Products’ full-year 2024 average comparable sales margin is expected to be in the range of $360–480/ton, previous was $480–580/ton.
- Orion Corporation Upgrades Full-Year Outlook For 2024; ORIONs' Net sales are estimated to be €1,470 million to €1,510 million, previous was €1,440 million to €1,480 million. Operating profit is estimated to be EUR 370 million to EUR 400 million, previous was €350 million to €380 million.
- NCC AB (NCC) to refurbish 184 rental apartments in Taastrup, Denmark; NCC will refurbish 184 rental apartments for KAB and the housing company AKB Taastrup in the Taastrupgaard residential district east of Copenhagen. The assignment is the first phase of a comprehensive refurbishment plan for the district. The order value is approximately SEK 400 million.
- RTX Corporation (RTX) and Lockheed Martin Javelin (LMT) JV has secured a $143.52 million modification to contract W31P4Q-19-C-0076 for Lightweight Command Launch Units and a $124.14 million modification to contract W31P4Q-19-C-0076 for Lightweight Command Launch Units.
- RTX Corporation (RTX) has been awarded a $1.2B firm-fixed-price, incentive modification to a previously awarded contract for Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile Production Lot 38.
- Medical Properties Trust, Inc. (MPW) Takes Control of Its Real Estate From Steward Health Care; MPW announced that it reached a global settlement agreement with Steward Health Care System, its secured lenders and the Unsecured Creditors Committee that restores MPW’s control over its real estate, severs its relationship with Steward and facilitates the immediate transition of operations to quality replacement operators at 15 hospitals around the country.
- Canadian National Railway Company (TSE:CNR) Operations have Recovered, Company Updates Outlook Following Labor Disruption; While operations have now recovered following several months of uncertainty, CNR estimated the work stoppages and wildfires had caused a quarter-to-date impact of around C$0.20/share to its earnings. The company said it now expects adjusted earnings per share growth in the "low single-digit" percentage range, compared to its previous forecast of a "mid to high single-digit" percentage growth.

- General Mills, Inc. (GIS) Announces Agreements to Sell Its North American Yogurt Business to Lactalis and Sodiaal; GIS announced that it has entered into definitive agreements to sell its North American Yogurt business to Lactalis and Sodiaal, two leading French dairy companies, in cash transactions valued at an aggregate $2.1 billion USD. Following the completion of the transactions, the U.S. and Canadian businesses will operate independently, with Lactalis acquiring the U.S. business and Sodiaal acquiring the Canadian business. The proposed transactions are expected to close in calendar 2025, subject to receipt of requisite regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
- Philip Morris International Inc. (PM) Increases Quarterly Dividend; The Board of Directors of PM has increased the company’s regular quarterly dividend by 3.8% to an annualized rate of $5.40 per share. The new quarterly dividend of $1.35 per share, up from $1.30 per share, is payable on October 10, 2024, to shareholders of record as of September 26, 2024. The ex-dividend date is September 26, 2024.
- L3Harris Technologies, Inc. received a five-year contract; LHX has received a five-year contract, worth up to $587.4 million, to deliver custom tactical jamming pods designed to modernize the U.S. Navy’s Aerial Electronic Attack capability.
- T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. (TROW) Reports Preliminary Month-end Assets Under Management For August 2024; TROW reported preliminary month-end assets under management of $1.61 trillion as of August 31, 2024. Preliminary net outflows for August 2024 were $5.3 billion.

- Kesko Corporation’s (KESKO) sales in August; KESKO’s sales decreased by 0.7% in August, or by 3.9% in comparable terms.
- General Dynamics Corporation (GD) Receives Additional Eight-Ship Contract to Build T-AO 10-17; General Dynamics NASSCO, a subsidiary of GD, announced today that it has received a block-buy contract from the U.S. Navy for the construction of up to eight additional John Lewis-class fleet replenishment oilers (T-AO 214 through 221). The tenth ship, and first under the new contract, has been awarded for $780 million. If all eight ships are ultimately exercised, and including incentives and other contract options in support of those ships, the contract value will total over $6.7 billion.
