- Realty Income Corporation (O) Prices Senior Notes; O announced the pricing of a public offering of $500 million of 5.375% senior unsecured notes due 2054. The public offering price for the Notes was 98.374% of the principal amount for an effective semi-annual yield to maturity of 5.486%.

- Neste Corporation (NESTE) Expands Chemical Recycling Logistics Infrastructure; NESTE is expanding its logistics infrastructure for liquefied recycled raw materials at its refinery in Porvoo, Finland, including materials such as liquefied waste plastic and liquefied rubber tires. This lays the foundation to handling larger amounts of liquefied raw materials to support Neste’s strategic aims to advance chemical recycling and transform the Porvoo refinery into a renewable and circular solutions hub.
- Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) to Acquire V-Wave; JNJ announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire V-Wave Ltd., a privately-held company focused on developing innovative treatment options for patients with heart failure. Under the terms of the agreement, Johnson & Johnson will acquire V-Wave for an upfront payment of $600 million, subject to customary adjustments, with the potential for additional regulatory and commercial milestone payments up to approximately $1.1 billion.
- Lockheed Martin, Rotary and Missions Systems, a unit of Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMT) has secured a $113.64 million firm-fixed-price modification to a previously awarded contract for option exercise of full rate production Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program AN/SLQ-32(V)6 and AN/SLQ-32C(V) six systems.

- UPM-Kymmene Corporation (UPM) closes Hürth newsprint mill and one fine paper machine at Nordland Papier; UPM In May UPM Communication Papers announced plansto permanently close its Hürth newsprint mill and shutdown of one fine paper machine at Nordland Papier in Dörpen (PM 3). Both mills are located in Germany. The respective participation processes with the employee representatives have been concluded. The number of positions affected is 338. Graphic paper production in Hürth is expected to end on 31 August 2024 and at Nordland Papier PM 3 latest by the end of 2024, resulting in annual reductions of 330,000 tonnes of newsprint paper capacity and 280,000 tonnes of uncoated fine paper capacity.
- Target Corporation (TGT) Reports Second Quarter Earnings; TGT reports second quarter Non-GAAP EPS of $2.57, 42.4% above from last year and $0.39 more than expected. Revenue grew 2.7% to $25.45 billion, topping estimates by $240 million. For the third quarter Management expects a 0 to 2 percent increase in its comparable sales, and GAAP and Adjusted EPS of $2.10 to $2.40. Management expects full-year GAAP and Adjusted EPS of $9.00 to $9.70, up from the prior range of $8.60 to $9.60.
- The Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD) Provides Update on U.S. AML Matters; TD announced it has taken a further provision of US$2.6B in its fiscal Q3 results in anticipation of reaching a global resolution of civil and criminal investigations into its U.S. Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering program by U.S. Authorities. TD also announced that it has sold 40,500,000 shares of common stock of The Charles Schwab Corporation. The share sale will reduce TD's ownership interest in Schwab from 12.3% to 10.1%. In connection with this sale, TD has agreed not to sell any additional Schwab shares for a period of 45 days, subject to certain exceptions. TD has no current intention to divest additional shares.

- NCC AB (NCC) to build new swim center in Visby; NCC’s subsidiary, Nybergs Entreprenad, is to construct a new and ultramodern swim center in the center of Visby. The project will be carried out in partnering form with the client, Region Gotland, and the order value is approximately SEK 300 million.
- Altria Group, Inc. (MO) Increases Quarterly Dividend; MO announced that our Board of Directors voted to increase our regular quarterly dividend by 4.1% to $1.02 per share versus the previous rate of $0.98 per share. The quarterly dividend is payable on October 10, 2024 to shareholders of record as of September 16, 2024. The ex-dividend date is September 16, 2024.
- Medical Properties Trust, Inc. (MPW) Cuts Dividend; MPW announced that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.08 per share of common stock to be paid on October 10, 2024, to stockholders of record on September 9, 2024, -46.7% decrease from prior dividend of $0.15.
- The Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD) Reports Third Quarter 2024 Results; TD reports Q3 Non-GAAP EPS of C$2.05, 5.1% above last year's result but C$0.02 less than expected. Revenue grew 8.9% to C$14.18 billion, topping estimates by $150 million. CET1 ratio was 12.8%, compared with 13.4% at the end of the prior quarter. Provision for credit losses of C$1.072 billion, up from C$766 million one year ago.

- QUALCOMM Incorporated (QCOM) and Sequans Reach Agreement on Sale of 4G IoT Technology; QCOM and Sequans Communications S.A. (NYSE: SQNS), a supplier of 4G and 5G semiconductor solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement for Qualcomm to buy Sequans’ 4G IoT technologies.
- Canadian National Railway Company (TSE:CNR) Ends Lock Out and Initiates Recovery Plan; CNR announced that effective 18:00 ET, it ended its lock out and immediately initiated its recovery plan. As CNR awaits the formal order from the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB), the Company is making this decision to expedite the recovery of the economy.
