The fourth month of the year is over, May is also already the halfway point and summer starts in a few weeks. In April 2024 my portfolio dividend income was as follows:
My Total dividends in April are €4,145.55 ($4,438.53). After taxes, my net dividend income is €3,082.28 ($3,286.29). In year 2023, my net dividend income in April was €3,181.54 ($3,492.06). My portfolio's net dividend income decreased by €99.26 or 3.1% to compared the same month of previous year. Compared to the previous year, there have been some changes to the dividend income of April: ORNBV changed annual dividends to semi-annual, one new dividend payer have joined to the portfolio, namely JGPI.DE, additional purchase such NDA, UGI, O, TD.TO and TRP.TO. Compared to a year ago, the holdings also included some solid dividend increases like NDA and PEP but unfortunately also dividend cut from NESTE, MPW, WPC and SDIV.
This net passive income of €3,082.28 means that I received a reasonable €102.74 every day or €4.28 per every hour during April, no matter what I did. For the first four months of the year, the corresponding amounts are €66.39 per day and €2.76 per hour.
This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 164,401.01.
Net income / expenditure
- Net passive income for April was €3,082.28, for the first four months it totals €8,033.14.
- Total expenditure for April was €1,146.31, for the first four months it totals €4,796.06.
- The result for April was €1,935.97, for the first four months it totals €3,237.08.
I have now collected 34.2% of my target net passive income for this year, which is €23,500.00.
