The first quarter of the year is over and it's time to report my dividend income. In March 2024 my portfolio dividend income was as follows:
My Total dividends in March are €3,023.04 ($3,287.03). After taxes, my net dividend income is €2,245,81 ($2,434.23). In year 2023, my net dividend income in March was €2,100.65 ($2,254.69). My portfolio's net dividend income increased by €145.16 or 6.9% to compared the same month of previous year. Compared to the previous year, there have been some changes to the dividend income of March: Five new dividend payers have joined to the portfolio, namely WTRG, ES, LHX, CCI and JGPI.DE. Brookfield acquired TRTN, so it has left the portfolio, additional purchase such WEC, NEE, ENB.TO and PPL.TO. Compared to a year ago, the holdings also included some solid dividend increases like NEE, MCD, AFL, ADM, MFC.To and MRU.TO but unfortunately also dividend cut from INTC, WBA, VFC and SDIV.
This net passive income of €2,245,81 means that I received a reasonable €72.45 every day or €3.02 per every hour during March, no matter what I did. After the first quarter, these numbers are €54.41 per day and €2.27 per hour.
This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 161,318.73.
Net income / expenditure
- Net passive income for March was €2,245,81, with a total of €4,950.86 in the first quarter.
- Total expenditure for March was €1,278.91, with a total of €3,649.75 in the first quarter.
- The result for March was €966.90, with a total of €1,301.11 in the first quarter.
I have now collected 21.1% of my target net passive income for this year, which is €23,500.00.
