- The Home Depot, Inc. (HD) Enters into Agreement to Acquire Construction Resources Parent Company, International Designs Group; HD has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire International Designs Group (IDG), a platform company that owns and operates Construction Resources and other design-oriented subsidiaries.
- McDonald's Corporation (MCD) to Acquire Carlyle’s Stake in McDonald’s China; MCD and global investment firm Carlyle (NASDAQ: CG) announced that McDonald’s has agreed to acquire Carlyle’s minority ownership stake in the strategic partnership that operates and manages McDonald’s business in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.
- LyondellBasell Industries N.V. (LYB) to Build Industrial-scale Advanced Recycling Plant in Germany; LYB announced it has made the final investment decision to build the company's first industrial-scale catalytic advanced recycling demonstration plant at its Wesseling, Germany, site. The new plant is expected to have an annual capacity of 50,000 tonnes per year and is designed to recycle the amount of plastic packaging waste generated by over 1.2 million German citizens per year. Construction is planned to be completed by the end of 2025.

- Best Buy Co., Inc. (BBY) Reports Third Quarter Results; BBY reports Non-GAAP EPS of $1.29, beating analyst estimates by $0.09 but decreased 6.52% year-over-year. Revenue of $9.76 billion misses analyst estimates by $140 million and decreased 7.8% versus the same quarter last year. For FY24 Management guides revenue of $43.1 billion to $43.7 billion, which compares to prior guidance of $43.8 billion to $44.5 billion and Non-GAAP diluted EPS of $6.00 to $6.30, which compares to prior guidance of $6.00 to $6.40.
- Golar LNG Limited (GLNG) Reports Interim results for the period ended September 30, 2023; GLNG reports third quarter EPS of $0.48, 3.48% above from last year and $0.03 ahead of estimates. Revenue of $67.25 million beats analyst estimates by $1.89 million but decreased 1.7% versus the same quarter last year.
