Dividend Income - October 2023

As the year is coming to an end and November is already over halfway through, it's time to report my dividend income for October. In October 2022, the dividend income for my portfolio was as follows:

My Total dividends in October are €2,789.11 ($2,945.22). After taxes, my net dividend income is €2,072.23 ($2,188.20). In year 2022, my net dividend income in October was €1,812.90 ($1,782.60). My portfolio's net dividend income increased by €259.33 or 14.3% to compared the same month of previous year. Compared to the previous year, there have been some changes to the dividend income of October: TELIA changed the dividend payment schedule from half-yearly to quarterly, additional acquisitions to the portfolio such EIX, UGI, TD.TO, MAIN and O. Compared to a year ago, the holdings also included some nice dividend increases like NESTE, PEP and NTR but unfortunately also dividend cut from MPW, AQN and SDIV.

This net passive income of €2,072.23 means that I received a reasonable €66.84 every day or €2.79 per every hour during October, no matter what I did. Until the end of October, the corresponding amounts are €60.30 per day and €2.51 per hour.

This month's dividend increased my cumulative net dividend income € 152,645.67.

Net income / expenditure

  • Net passive income for October was €2,072.23, year to end October total €18,330,78

  • Total expenditure for October was €1,236,22 year to end October total €14,454.53

  • The result for October was €836.01, year to end October total €3,876.25

I have now collected 81.5% of my target net passive income for this year, which is € 22,500.00. After dividend cut announcements such as AQN, INTC, VFC and MPW, it is already clear that I will not reach my target in euros this year. At the moment it looks like I will miss my target by about €500.
